We had the good fortune of connecting with Liz Stuart and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LIZ, what inspires you?
I am inspired by the ability to create and connect, by the love for what you do, and by the opportunity to positively impact others. Every step you take is guided by passion, the desire to grow, and a commitment to your projects. You find inspiration in the everyday, in your experiences, and in the vision of building something unique that reflects your values and creativity.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is an extension of everything that inspires me, from the beauty in everyday life to the deepest emotions we experience as human beings. What sets me apart from others is my focus on combining emotion with visuals, creating pieces that not only look good but also tell a story and connect with people on a deeper level. What excites and makes me proud the most is seeing how my art, through Tyler Pets Production, can touch people’s lives, bring a smile, or even inspire someone to follow their own dreams. Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced personal and professional challenges that have pushed me to grow, but I’ve always kept a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve. Each obstacle has taught me valuable lessons: patience, resilience, and, above all, the importance of believing in yourself, even when things don’t seem to go your way. What I want the world to know about Tyler Pets Production is that behind every creation, there’s a purpose, a story that seeks to connect, inspire, and, most importantly, leave a positive mark. My journey has been a mix of passion, hard work, and immense gratitude for those who have supported me. Today, I’m more excited than ever to keep creating and see where this adventure will take me
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting for a week and I wanted to make sure it was the best experience of their life, I’d start by showing the most iconic and vibrant spots in Atlanta, mixing local culture, great food, fun, and nature. Day 1: Urban exploration and Southern food • Breakfast: We’d start the day at West Egg Cafe, a place famous for its authentic Southern breakfast. We’d try the biscuits and gravy or chicken and waffles. • Morning: We’d visit the Georgia Aquarium, one of the largest in the world, and then take a stroll through Centennial Olympic Park. • Lunch: Mary Mac’s Tea Room for a traditional Southern meal, where we’d enjoy the best fried chicken with classic sides like collard greens and mac & cheese. • Afternoon: A walk along The BeltLine, a 22-mile trail crossing several city neighborhoods. We could rent bikes and enjoy the street art along the way. • Dinner and evening: A stop at Krog Street Market, choosing from a variety of artisanal food vendors, followed by cocktails at Ticonderoga Club. Day 2: Nature and adventure • Hiking at Stone Mountain: We’d spend the morning hiking Stone Mountain, one of Georgia’s most iconic natural attractions. The view from the top is breathtaking. • Picnic: I’d pack a picnic to enjoy after the hike, soaking in the peace and quiet of the surroundings. • BBQ night: For dinner, we’d head to Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q to savor some of the best ribs and brisket around. Day 3: History and culture • Visit to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site: A walk through the history and achievements of the civil rights leader. • Lunch: We’d have lunch at Paschal’s, an iconic soul food restaurant that played a role in Atlanta’s civil rights history. • High Museum: We’d spend the afternoon at the High Museum of Art enjoying its impressive modern art collection. • Jazz night: Ending the day at Churchill Grounds, a classic Atlanta spot for live jazz. Day 4: Relaxation and shopping • Brunch at The Flying Biscuit Café: Perfect for trying their famous breakfast with biscuits and grits. • Shopping at Ponce City Market: A great spot for all kinds of shopping, plus an incredible rooftop with games and great views. • Pizza and beer night: For a more laid-back evening, we’d go to Antico Pizza and then to Monday Night Brewing to enjoy local craft beers. Day 5: Pop culture and something different • Visit to the World of Coca-Cola: A fun place to learn about one of the most iconic brands in the world. • Lunch: We’d have lunch at Slutty Vegan, one of Atlanta’s best vegan spots. • Outdoor movie night: If it’s the right season, we’d wrap up the day with an outdoor movie at Piedmont Park. Day 6: Excursion to Savannah • Road trip to Savannah: We’d take a day trip to Savannah, one of Georgia’s most charming cities, to explore its historic architecture, parks, and enjoy dinner at The Grey. Day 7: Relax and farewell • Chill breakfast: We’d say goodbye to the week with a cozy breakfast at Buttermilk Kitchen, a charming spot for homemade breakfast. • Spa day: After all the adventures, we’d spend the day relaxing at a spa, like Jeju Sauna. • Farewell dinner: To close the visit, a special dinner at Aria, a fine dining restaurant with innovative dishes that would leave my friend with the best memory of Atlanta. This itinerary would be a mix of culture, nature, great food, and above all, a full immersion into the best Atlanta and Georgia have to offer!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are three very important people in my life who deserve all the credit and recognition: my parents and my brother. They have been my foundation, and I will always be grateful for their love and teachings. I love them deeply. However, I also feel that every person who has crossed my path, even if it was for a short time, deserves recognition. Thanks to each of those experiences and lessons, I am where I am today, and I feel fulfilled. That, without a doubt, deserves to be recognized
