We had the good fortune of connecting with LilWil ThaGod and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LilWil, how do you think about risk?
recently I’ve took a big risk that gave me an huge push in my music career. I had paid for a feature from another artist that helped me in many ways. first it helped out with getting more eyes and ears towards what I’ve been working on & also that same feature got me an billboard in my city for my most recent project. if I had not taken that risk I would’ve gotten those thing in the way it all happened

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
one thing I’m very excited about is how consistent I am with my releases. Ive been pushing my self to drop something every month and it’s been going well so far. I can see the growth in the music also its been receiving good feed back. Something that set me apart from most artist is I’m very versatile I like to try different styles in music to not box myself into one style. I got to were I am today by continuously working no matter how hard it may get. I had to learn along the way to focus on your set goals & to stop worrying about who’s not supporting and cater to the ones that are.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m from Ohio about 25 mins from Cleveland so Cleveland is probably where id take them. depending on the type of food they may like I’ll go to the Zanzibar its a restaurant downtown I love it there. if were going out I thing the flats is a great place to take people.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First thing first I would like to give a shoutout to Kahlel Productions, for always giving me that push to stay consistent & for all the hard work he does behind the scenes of it all & also I would really like to shoutout to Naz Bohannon that’s my day one for real bro been keeping me on my toes. I be feeling like giving up sometimes he be letting me know we haven’t made it this far to quit
