We had the good fortune of connecting with Lele Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lele, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I have always carried this saying with me “success is dependent on effort. Only those who dare to fail greatly, can ever achieve greatly.” With that being said I believe that your risk is what builds your success. Also, failing is part of success. I have always been a risk taker even though I knew failing was a possibility. My strong faith outweighs my fear of failure and I know Gods purpose for me is to pursue my dreams regardless of risk. Risk has played a major role in my success by allowing me to own several businesses.

What should our readers know about your business?
Reserve 116 Venue is located in Alpharetta GA. We are a premier event space that offers an elegant and chic venue for your events. We are also a full -service event planning, design and decor company. We are a one stop shop for events. What sets my business apart from others are the details and thought put into the design and structure while developing and building Reserve 116. I’m most proud of the perseverance and hard work that was put into Reserve 116, paying off and being everything I envisioned. My drive has positioned me where I am today business wise. Understanding things won’t be easy along the way but appreciating the journey which includes challenges and obstacles. The process to starting this business was not easy but having faith and a plan and sticking to the plan, not allowing speed bumps to slow me down is how I overcame my challenges. I’ve learned that my Journey creating and building Reserve 116, has taught me to go after your dreams and not just your goals in life. I want the world to know that I am a dreamer as well as a lover of parties and a good time. I love to not only entertain but give and experience and Reserve 116 is now allowing me to do that with others outside of my family and friends.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of my favorite places to go and things to do have definitely changed in recent years. It’s no longer much of the night scene but I enjoy more of taking mini trips to Dahlonega, GA which is located in North Ga as it’s known as the wine country of the south. Dahlonega, outside of the wineries is the cutest town which makes you feel as if you are in a hallmark movie. It has the cutest and best restaurants, local shops as well as Tree house Airbnb’s that are amazing! Near by you will find a lavender farm, sunflower farm as well as hiking trails with beautiful waterfalls that are instagram worthy.

Short drive back from Dahlonega I would stop in at another favorite and do a night or two at the Avalon. Book a room at the Avalon hotel autograph collection as well as book a spa day with facials and massages with wood house Spa. Have lunch and cocktails at Rumis Kitchen and end with amazing dinner and more craft cocktails at Oak Steakhouse.
To complete the trip of course you have to get dressy and head to the city to have brunch at the The Garden Room, which is located in the heart of Buckhead. A trip is not a trip without shopping so, after brunch you are right by Buckhead Village District for some retail therapy to complete your trip!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Although my newest venture is my new baby (reserve 116 venue) I am also a mom of two and my husband and I own other businesses, which require us to wear several hats on a daily basis. Non of it would be possible without the constant love, support and encouragement from my biggest cheerleader, life and business partner my husband. We tag team which creates balance that works well for our family. He is present and takes care of the kids when I have to be away. Although he’s busy himself he does not miss a beat.
