We had the good fortune of connecting with Lecasshius Stargell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lecasshius, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk Taking is Almost the number one objective in any entrepreneurial pursuit. However, in the entertainment business its critical to a point where you have to almost become delusional. I Always knew I had a love for music and arts , but didn’t know how to exactly monetize it in the earlier stages of my career which brought financial fear and ultimately almost altered my choices. If I hadn’t taken that risk to leave college for what i was studying, I would have never figured out how to monetize the very thing I would’ve done for free for the rest of my life. Was it risky and financially challenging? Yes, But what isn’t. Always take the risk, bet on yourself, and put your best foot forward.
What should our readers know about your business?
So I’m a full time Record Executive and Talent manager, Exclusively in the HipHop Community but also Known In other communities as Well. In 2014 , We launched “Applying Pressure Music Group” , Which some of our first Acts were YSL DUKE Known Then as “MPA Duke” , Jose Guapo, Kaelub ( As A Solo Act From Rich Kidz), Amongst a few other emerging Atlanta Artist.
We Learned A heavy amount of knowledge about the Entertainment business in these early stages, which were very challeneging obstacles, because we knew nothing about publication and mechanical royalties etc. It was all a new language to us, but it was something that we all had in us to want to strive and grasp the concept of making money from the entertainment business. Your taking your hard earned money working at “red lobster” to go shoot a video for you tube when your not even monetizing from you tube yet, or paying for an LLC and you have no clients, so it can get financially frightening.
I overcame these challenges by becoming In love with my future, which ultimately meant being delusional and dreaming about money and success that I could see but not in the near future. I gave myself a piece of advice before I started to take this Journey Serious. I remember one day saying to myself, “I have heard a lot about life and trying to become your own Boss or business, and the one thing that I have not heard was it was easy”. So going forward, just from the small complications I understood that the complications would always come but I Would always have to do my due diligence and continue to strive towards the goal I set out upon.
In 2023, We Rebranded our Company to accommodate all genres of music, Producers, and Creators. Alongside Harry Fox And Sony Music Publishing We launched, “Element Music Creative Group” Which has been extremely successful since its launched with many genres of releases.
The Thing I want people to know about my story is this, We Never quit even when the odds are against us. And If I Could leave the readers with a quote , “Never give up on day 30 when your blessing is on day 31, And remember every month doesn’t have 31 days, so you may have to wait a little longer sometimes, but its coming.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I Would Like To Dedicate This Shoutout To my Grandmother Hazel And My Mother Trinetta For always standing by my side through the good and the bad. Also For opening the door and garage all those late nights from me leaving the club and studio. Without their Unconditional Love and Support Through the Brightest and Darkest Times Of My life I wouldn’t Be 1% Of the Loving God Fearing Business-Minded Man I Am Today. Its So many people I Could Name Especially my stepfather, But my Mom And Grandmother Were two Strong Women Who helped me become a man.
