We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren Rondem and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lauren, do you have a budget? how do you think about personal finances?
I do have a budget. I recently started the Dave Ramsey baby steps and it has helped me not only cut out spending money on material and unnecessary things, but it has help me pay off some debt!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
One lesson I’ve learned along the way is if you have a dream about something, GO FOR IT! Don’t let someone or something hold you back from doing what you have dreamed of doing! Also, don’t be so hard on yourself. You are your own worst critic.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So everyone that knows me knows I love to be at the lake! A day on the water is the best. Must see places on Lake Martin are Goat Island (yes there’s real goats), and Chimney Rock. Definitely have to check out Chuck’s Pizza and Parker’s Landing for bushwhackers too!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I really want to give a shout out to all of my family and friends who have continued their belief in me and in my work. 2020 has been a struggle, but with faith and hard work it has been a blessing in many ways as well!
Nominate Someone: ShoutoutAtlanta is built on recommendations and shoutouts from the community; it’s how we uncover hidden gems, so if you or someone you know deserves recognition please let us know here.
