We had the good fortune of connecting with Latte Latte and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Latte, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
At first it was just a thought. But the thought kept reoccurring. I was telling myself at first, it’s so many people that are doin the same thing around me I’m not going to make any money. The more it kept coming to my mind start the business, start the business the more things around me started to become uncomfortable. I was working 12 hours at night getting tired of answering to someone who’s complacent with their current career path. But I knew I can do more, I can be more, I AM MORE!! December 5th last year my kids and I got into a really bad accident. My daughter broke her leg and I was out of work. At that moment my life changed tremendously. The hustler in me woke all the way up. Something in me said start the business and with no hesitation I said ok

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
One of the main things that sets me apart from others is my good spirit and the fact I set no limits for myself. I can do anything I put my mind to. I am very excited about what 2021 has to offer. Excited to launch my website this month and to open my store next year In Atlanta. I am where I’m at today bc I didn’t limit myself. I stopped thinking and speaking negatively about myself and career and started speaking life into everything and everyone around me. I started living my life In action! It hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced oppositions already and I’m sure it won’t be the last and they’ve taught me that if you passionately believe in yourself and your goals don’t give up on yourself never quit no matter how bad it gets or looks. Pray and allow God to work your life just do your part. My messsge to the world about my brand is to wear confidence. In everything you do be confident. Kissed hair by Latté offers top quality hair for top quality women at a great price. The hair is guaranteed to bring out the fabulous woman in you!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When I hit the city the first thing on my mind is eating. Early morning Breakfast at Barney’s is awesome! It’s black owned, great food and environment. I love pizza so I have a couple pizza spots in the city. Edgewood pizza, little 5 points pizza and the spinning Pie is a dope spot too black owned with great drink specials and good music. Escobar is a good spot for drinks along with Fin and feathers. like to party on the south side. I’d hit up the wrath for good drinks and a turn up. The oaks has a variety of things to offer Comedy clubs, roof top lounges and live music. In my opinion it doesn’t matter where you’re at in Atlanta. You’re never too far from a good time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
