Meet Kosh | Creative Wellness Consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kosh and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kosh, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor is probably consistency. Showing up for yourself and following through on your word helps others trust you. When people see you show up again and again they start to realize that you aren’t going away and because of this they will trust you more and refer you to others. The more you show up consistently the more you will have “top of mind” visibility to the people who are in tune with what you do. This helps people consider your services first because they constantly see your work placed in front of them. Can’t forget prayer, I pray a lot. Submitting to God’s ultimate plan.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe I was meant to be an entrepreneur. I have the tools to accomplish anything; I’m organized, timely, a leader, and understand culture and diversity. I’m really most proud of how I treat people and how creative and consistent I am. I have a lot of anxiety, but I use it to give me a sense of urgency. I’m also very proud of the quality of work we put in and the professionalism we bring to every project. We are not perfect, but we strive for perfection in ever project in order to push the limits. As a side note, I want to mention I launched a pro video e-guide during the pandemic to help creatives/artists master video content using the smartphone or camera they have right now. I’ve sold over 90 copies at this point. Its a comprehensive guide you can finish in less than an hour that gives you the techniques you need to create polished content that engages your audience without feeling overwhelmed on where to start I achieved the level of success I’m at now by being flexible; able to adapt. I dealt with serious health issues for the first half of my 20’s and that taught me how to be extremely persistent and able to adapt to the unknowns. I think communication has played a big part as well. I’m not always the best with my tone, but I communicate my expectations and ask for feedback and clarity to make sure people understand. I believe skill & reciprocity is super important as well. I study the industry I’m in and try to apply new ideas and creativity to everything i touch. There have been many challenges that I’ve overcome and continue to have to overcome. I moved to atlanta with my ’06 nissan altima packed full, my savings, into a room in an airbnb. Now, I live in a much better place. I have lyme disease and at times it can be very difficult to manage in addition to my work. I definitely had a hard time making boundaries for myself at first in this industry. I think the biggest message here should just be use you intuition. Take calculated risks. THINK. Set yourself up for the future with discipline. I still have to check in with myself constantly to make sure I’m doing what’s healthy for me. Ultimately, where I am today was not easy, but it was totally worth it. I believe “all things for your greater good” whether you understand them at the time or not. I want to be known as someone who is for the people. Someone who is here to help in whatever capacity I can. As far as YES goes, we create quality content and strategic partnerships to amplify brands, visions, and voices that we believe in.
