We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Rousseau and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kevin, why did you pursue a creative career?
When I first started doing business & planning events around 2012, only the traditional medias received the main focus at that time, and many creatives, artists, musicians & small business owners were left behind unfortunately (if they didn’t have a healthy budget to promote their services or products).

After the earthquake that literally destroyed Haiti, I went to study Business Administration in the Dominican Republic where this idea took shape in collaboration with a friend of mine.

But prior to start with our platform, We have noticed that no one at that time ever used social medias to promote, whether the culture of, the music genres, the artists, the tourism sector and the history or HAITI on an international scale, what have boosted our creativity to choose the name AYITI PROMOTION.

Because we promote the culture of HAITI in all its magnificence, we help local and businesses abroad grow financially, but most importantly by reinforcing their branding & allowing them to be part of this diversified community of ours…

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Being a Marketing Expert requires a good dose of creativity and communication, all the rest is discipline & consistency.

You are basically a Mecanic with knowledges in cars from year 1980-2021, in other terms, you must be familiar with every single tool that allow the science of Marketing to improve services, products, brands or projects through social medias, advertising, creative writing, content creation, photography, event planning, public relation, seo, etc…

What makes us stands out from the crowd is our guenine & enthousiastic belief that every single business brand is our business, and that the image, the value and story behind each one of them is our day-to-day career as a whole, digging the impossible with passion & commitment…

In life, absolutely nothing is easy, it takes alot of courage to believe in yourself, in your team and in tour potential to make your dream come true and visible by the competition & all the industries involved in your sphere…

I have learned to never give up and I want the world to know that if me and my team started this adventure 8 years ago, they too can do it and even surpass our hard work.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, I’m from the Caribbean, and there, you need to improvise alot because planned things aren’t really funny.

First thing would be to go to CAP-HAITIEN, to eat some ‘’Griot & banann peze’’, some ‘’Pwason Griye’’ or ‘’Diri Djondjon’’ without forgetting our ‘’Prestige Beer’’ & ‘’Barbancourt’ alongside the beach of LABADEE..

Then we would visit ‘’Citadelle Laferriere’’, the biggest fortress in America and maybe fly to the Dominican Republic where people go clubbing at 12am, crazy nah? Lol…

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First of all, I would like to give thanks to GOD for protecting me, my mother & sister for believing in me, the Co-Founder of AYITI PROMOTION for taking many risks since day first.

And secondly, to my friends who have always believed in my potential back in the days & all my collaborators and businesses who have trusted us over the years…
