Meet Keondre Diggs | CEO & Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Keondre Diggs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keondre, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Why did you pursue an artistic or creative career?

Combination of things. I been writing music since I was 4 years old

After I got Molested & Kidnapped. My family been at war my whole life. We got a lot dead members. I inherited PTSD & Pain. Writing poetry & music is my safe place.

They wanted to like BMF , I wanted to be like OTF & 150 Dreamteam G Herbo & BWA. We had section 8 in Parkway Gardens Chicago Illinois. My Granny house 124 Parnell.

When I moved to Texas. My pops was a bouncer. I use to sneak out to the club this was in elementary school trying to be like my Uncle Sunny.

Then when the club got shut down , we actually ended moving next door to a Famous Country Singer

Augie Myers. He got me my first guitar & my pops got me a drum set.

6th grade year, I started playing the violin
I got my first DJ set that same year.

Taught myself how to produce & engineer.

I studied Kevin Gates & Lil Bibby. Another big influence. Also Why I’m pursuing a PHD Doctorate Degree & Studying Psychology. As well as managing Artist.

Nateo & Sedd really put me on game to the industry. Nateo really wanted me to stop working & hustling. I started touring , working behind the scenes of the industry. When I was 16. Always independent.

MalsoArragont he’s the creator of the sleep dance & 10K cash The creator of “ The Woah Dance “ were promoting my Brand “ TP “ aka Trndy Project. Around that time they were working with Lil Uzi Vert

And

I was shooting music videos at the time for
Luhhday , and doing photoshoots for YTM Bronze. And APE Life.

So I got my own day in my school district called Trendy Tuesdays.

Q The Plug was the First Artist I managed aka Rxalu Loaded , I learned a lot music wise from him as well. When Jaydayoungan passed away & my cousin Aydin died. I stepped away from the managing. I was Mourning for awhile

My Auntie La Tonya Ellis , just had passed right before that. I saw her on the hospital bed. And seeing Aydin in that casket.

I lost it. My other Artist actually Lil Keke Nephew. DSF Dee. Called me right after he got shot. I didn’t leave my house for 6 months after that. Aydin was the closest person to me in my family after I left Chicago. After Jessie & Adrian died I relapsed off my PTSD. Cut the world off.

You know we use to call each other just to pray. That was my real brother. I buried a lot my people & it breaks my heart to this day on top of.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m from Chicago Illinois, Southside. Not too many people make it past 18 & live tell their story. My whole I prepared myself for death & jail. Now I’m getting ready to write books, produce movies & win Grammys.

Every day I shed blood, sweat , and tears.

I developed a mental disease. I’m fighting PTSD for the rest my life. My art & music tells everything.

I won my first poetry contest in 6th grade. Written by me. Now I’m headed to the Grammys.

I buried more people than you can count on 2 hands. Had more near death experiences than you can count on 2 hands. I looked death in the face. Laid on my death bed & God said it wasn’t me time. So I give it all to him. Salam.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d take them to JJs Fish & Chicken. The best of the best. Nothing like a pizza puff to wrap up a long trip. That’s the first & last place I go before & after a trip. I love food as well to cook. For some relaxing entertainment we’d hit up Blue Flame. ATL finest or Perfect 10s the best club in San Antonio.
