We had the good fortune of connecting with KEISHAUN WILSON and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi KEISHAUN, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my own business with regards to EVERYBODY no matter how old or young you are and your financial status. I strive to be welcoming, loving, and equal to everyone. Growing up I always wanted to keep my hair and nails done and my mom did the best she could as a single mother , but there were times she just didn’t have it I want to provide THE BEST quality at an affordable price so that everyone feels special and beautiful.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the owner and braider of @KEESTYLEDME ! I braid hair all ages and types! I am also a future mail tech

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would first take her on a tour around the metro city limits. Downtown, 5 points, centennial Park, and the aquarium! Then we would grab a bite to eat at Houston’s. Definitely would swing by Lenox and Atlantic station. I love Phipps plaza also ! Legoland is great if you have kids. Atlanta is a melting pot of events and hangouts

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my success present and future to my mother Sharon Wilson. She has NEVER been lacking as a parent. ALWAYS there pushing and making me strive for greatnesses. My mom used to say “YOU CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT! DONT LET ANYBODY TELL YOU NO!” I always wondered why she was so hard on me growing but now I love and appreciate her for it. She made me a go getter, everytime I wana give up I picture mom Mom and everything is ok. THANK YOU SO Much MA I love YOU!
