We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaya Mason and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaya, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business was a method to changing the lives of my family and myself. I have come to realize that wealth building is the key to Live your best life. My family and I needed more Joy than a typical 9-5 Job (single income) can provide. Therefore, creating multiple streams of income will allow us more freedom to Live!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business was established on the Solution to Social Safety issues. Foreign particles are a threat to the human body systems and wearing Personal Protection Equipment can be the key to survival. My business, GAMS Global Solutions, Inc., provides PPE in Public Places set up in Vending Machines, to prevent the spread of microbes that jeopardize human evolution. After being rejected at a local market due to the lack of wearing a face mask, I witnessed, first-hand, the need.

I am most excited that I provide a Solution to a Problem.
Through determination and persistence, I created a ground-breaking concept and curriculum to Teach other Women to do the same.

No, the process was not an easy one. I was providing a product and service that has not been explored. Therefore, I had plenty of FIRSTS to overcome. Staying focused on the Goal was Key to completing the Task. However, my knowledge and network have expanded tremendously.

I have learned that No One is Coming To Save Me. All things required had to be met by my will power. So, I kept moving forward.

Traditionally, as a High School Science Teacher, my expectations for life were to retire and live happily ever after. Knowing what I do now, My life is just on the rise to fulfillment. There has been a shift in the world which requires a shift in us…for survival.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A week-long trip will be paced with activities and explorations that offer value. We will begin on Sunday by visiting The Centennial Center of Atlanta. We will walk through the Park to check out the sites and monuments. Catch a couple of Scooters to sight see the shops and businesses around. After a little physical activity, we will sit for seafood Dinner and Tropical Drinks.
Monday we will rise early for sunrise at Stone Mountain for an awesome workout to start the day off right! At the end of the mountain climb we will sit at the top and have a cup of Tea that we packed in our backpacks. We will meet up with some high school friends for Lunch just before we explore the Freedom Center. We will end our day with Salads and conversations at the hotel.
Tuesday is about content. We will take adventures throughout the city just for photos and content! What Fun!!
Wednesday is reserved for Night Life in Atlanta. We will bar hop with some college buddies who decide to visit with us for the weekend.
Thursday – Saturday, we will drive to the coast and stay on the Beaches of Savanah and Tybee Island. Our goal is to explore the history of the area and enjoy the leisure.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Thanks to the Pandemic, I was provided the time to explore my highest creative being during Quarantine. Being faced Death, Destruction and Deception, I was forced to think Outside the Box and WIN! Through the process, my family provided an overwhelmingly amount of support. I am grateful.
