Meet Kandie Martin: Multi Media Strategist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kandie Martin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kandie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My initial thought about starting my own business was to have another stream of income and have a way to work with my children. However it ended up changing to trying to create a way to help small business owners succeed. When you are the sole proprietor everything falls on you. You have to do all things and try to do them well. It can put you in a bad place as you can overlook somethings and not give a great product or service. So I wanted to be the helper for small businesses.

What should our readers know about your business?
Kandie Enterprises is a MultiMedia Company. We help people and businesses look good in the Media. Our specialty is Social Media Marketing where we help small to medium size businesses stay consistent which in turn helps them generate more leads to get to the money that they deserve. I got here by starting on the entertainment side with helping comedians and actors be seen more and that led me to produce 7 internet radio/TV shows. I then became an author with the 1st Edition of Wake Up Winning No Matter What book and that is when I met Taurea Vision Avant. I became a part of the social media team then the VP of Social Media and now I am the VP of Urban CEO Network. With helping with the social media for the Non-Profit Organization I was able to create a business that helps other businesses with their social media.

It wasn’t easy and still isn’t easy. I am forever learning new trends, developing content, editing videos and so much more. Some of the lessons that I have learned are don’t undersell yourself, invest in coaching and make sure that you create milestones to keep track of your progress.

What I want the world to know is when you hire us you are hiring a team, and our goal is to help you to become successful.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If they have never been here then of course it first of all depends on budget and preference but, they need to hit the aquarium, check out Little 5 Points, Centennial Olympic Park, MLK Historic Site, of course Underground Atlanta and all of the key places in the A, but they also need to hit the restaurants take a stroll downtown Decatur all of the restaurants there can be a hit but definitely need to go the Wild Crab Seafood Bar, and don’t forget midtown for night activities.
