We had the good fortune of connecting with Jim Vinyard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jim, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to use my gifts, talents, and experiences in a way that could support a lot of for-profit business’ and companies, and also non-profits organizations to make an even bigger impact in their communities and in the world. I have a few decades of career experience in the large scale event planning and production, marketing and advertising, and local and global non-profit logistics and operations. So as a result, my company VCG Experience Company was born in 2019. A Digital Marketing and Event Company focused on clients making impacts in the world!
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Great questions! What sets VCG apart from others? We are very excited and focused on partnering with for-profit business’ and companies, and non-profit organizations making a BIG impacts in their communities and in the world. VCG supports our clients through social media creation and management, digital advertising, website design and support, and virtual / live / hybrid events… and we do so with a planned strategy around each service, and we followup with a custom deep dive analytics dashboard so they can see their ROI, social media, digital advertising, and detailed website traffic. How did I get to where I am today business wise? I wanted to do something I love and am passionate about, and use my decades of experiences in the large scale event planning and production, marketing and advertising, and global non-profit operations and management. Was it easy? Starting a new business end of 2019 and leading into 2020 and a pandemic I would not say was “easy”… but for sure taught me how to prioritize and fine tune my business to a changing world! How did I / we overcome challenges? By being flexible, by surrounding myself a much smarter and talented team than I am, by onboarding the best technology needed, and listening and learning the needs of our awesome clients and adapting! What lessons have I learned along the way? How to show the best ROI for our clients, how to grow and adapt alongside our clients, and to better communicate with clients through calls, video, emails, and dashboards. What do I want the world to know about us? That we are here to help them make an even BIGGER impact in the world through their business and organization. We love being an extended team of their team, their vision, and their mission.
