We had the good fortune of connecting with Young Nicky and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Young Nicky, why did you pursue a creative career?
I was always interested in music ever since seeing my uncle Jeffrey Brooks play the piano downstairs at my grandmother’s house. I always knew that music was going to my way to make it in life & take care of my family!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m at where I’m at today by pushing myself when it felt like everything wasn’t working thru them hardships I had to endure in life made me feel like a champion! I want to motivate people that no matter what obstacles comes you can always weather the storm with a lil prayer & patience! Life is not easy but God do have blessings that he wants us to receive. We just got to be ready to receive it,!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I will tell people to check out the waterfront & also the stores on the water front! Suggest that they ride the scooters or even the ferris wheel over looking the waterfront! The space needle is dope to be at! The list goes alot there’s a lot you can do out here if you are a tourists & also would grab a bite at the hard rock cafe downtown Seattle!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My supporters who support not just when I’m doing good or feeling good but ones who stand by me no matter what! Them are the ones keeps me motivated & inspired to keep going life ain’t always easy!
