We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremiah Paige and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremiah, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued and artistic creative career because I was introduced to creativity at a young age with sports and dancing. I used to step at my schools step team and danced with some friends in my childhood. Basketball is such a creative sport in the ways in which you can score points. I loved expressing myself and my mom said I could do anything I wanted and I believed her so I pursued music once I discovered it was my passion in college.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most proud of my willingness to learn new things and not limit myself to what is possible with my creativity. I had no previous experience with making music and started learning how to record myself, mix myself, and make beats all around the same time. My preserved and determination to grow as a creative has kept me going and made me resilient. I also leaned as a creative that things take time and patience are necessary for success. There are thing that are happening now in my career or soon going to come into my existence that I had no idea how to make happen years ago. I have music about to come out I’ve had written for years on beats I had for just as long. Everything is a process and it’s important to be patience and be prepared when it’s your time to shine so when the spotlight comes it doesn’t leave.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take people visiting to all the underground art scene locations! There you can find much freedom and a welcoming atmosphere. These places include the new club in the city Pump no.9, City Beach, and The Crown. There are lot of great places to get drinks and vibe in Baltimore just gotta know where to go.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my good friends Josh, Ryan, and Dame. Josh is my literal brother but Ryan and Dame are also like brothers too me. Josh has been there since Day 1 of my musical journey, supporting and showing up to events with me. Ryan and Dame have encouraged me to strive for more with their pursuits for success. Ryan has helped me shape my understanding of what it means to be successful. Dame has showed me what’s possible with hard works and dedication to the craft of song writing. They all have contributed to me being the creative I am today.
