Hi Jaz E., what matters most to you?
Be authentic. Being authentic matters significantly to me, and I want that to come through in my work and the relationships I build with others. My business is built on connecting with other businesses and communities. To do that, I must show up as true as possible, which helps me gain the trust of my potential clients.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, J. E. Hill Digital Marketing does content writing, content strategy, and content management. We focus on three marketing channels to build your brand and grow your business: website content, social media marketing, and email marketing.

J. E. Hill Digital Marketing is a small digital marketing agency that serves businesses by helping them connect with their customers through rich and engaging written content. Specializing in SEO and strategic marketing consulting, we connect companies to the community through digital channels with writing, strategy, and design.

As the owner and creative strategist behind the business, I’ve borrowed structure and experience from the 9-5 jobs I’ve strived to move a little differently. I want to bring relationships back to marketing, so I set out to start my own business where I can consult and work one-on-one with various companies needing digital marketing strategies.

One of the hardest things about going out on your own was mostly internal for me. It’s betting on yourself because you don’t know what will happen, but you trust that this is the right path for you and the right opportunities will come your way. That’s the journey I’m currently on.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When I’m visiting friends in Atlanta or taking a day trip, I have to visit the O.G. Slutty Vegan because their welcoming atmosphere and customer service are top-tier. I highly recommend Breakfast at Barney’s because the food is fantastic. Go to the Centennial Olympic Park, ride the nearby Ferris Wheel, and then just walk around the city to explore nooks and hidden gems.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to highlight my family because they have been and are super supportive of my endeavors, however abrupt or ambitious. Though they may not understand or agree with my decisions, my parents offer floral support and lend a hand when I need it. Their love and support inspire me to keep believing in myself as I build my professional life.
