We had the good fortune of connecting with Jay Vinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jay, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
Yes I have a favorite quote which I actually came up with when I launched my business. It goes like this: “Everyday of your life is a day of purpose.” To me it means that everyday you are alive you have a purpose to fulfill on this earth. Although I am aware that some people may not know exactly what their purpose may be, but once they find their purpose they have to know that every single day of their life is a day of purpose. Also, what I like about it is that it motivates me daily to live life on purpose and to make an impact in someone life daily by educating, equipping, and empowering them to be all they can be daily on purpose.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m the founder of JJV Enterprises and Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. and Elite Sports Production LLC. As being a faith-based leader, and author I have coached several individuals find their God-given purpose and that has played a huge part of my ministry as I had seen those results come to fruition. Fast forward December of 2019, the ideas of JJV Enterprises and Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. came to light. As it was only a few close family and friends whom I had shared my vision to. In the spring of 2020 I decided to take a leap of faith of becoming a business owner and CEO of Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. It has been a great experience so far with Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. as I have reached a global following and partners with the farthest being in Africa by using the virtual platforms throughout this global pandemic. Like any other entrepreneur in marketplace ministry and business, I had some good days and I had some bad days, but each day I keep working hard with a purpose. It has been an uphill battle with JJV Enterprises starting out as I realize some things had to be adjusted from in person to the online platform. Also, with Elite Sports Production I was able to launch it in November 2021. Our sports media company is consist of weekly podcasts, weekly coaches show, short documentaries, players and coaches press conference/post game show, sport episodes, players highlight reel, and interviews with players and coaches for all sports.

Although we are still in a middle of a pandemic JJV enterprises and Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. has been doing great lately although I had to pivot and change my entire plans with my business. With me being a more hands on type of person, I had to learn how to pivot part of my business to the online platform. But, the good part is I had a few coaches who helped me throughout the process in which it has helped my business grow. Also, with Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. I had the honor of making an appearance on Atlanta Live and Preach the Word Network Books of the month show to talk about my experience as being a faith leader and a author in November 2021. I also had the privilege of baptizing 5 individuals in 2021 as well as being a guest speaker on New Years Eve at a friend of mine in the faith ministry in Alabama.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are several places I have learned of and come to find interesting in the metro Atlanta area. I would take my best friend to Top Golf, the belt line, Stone Mountain Park, Kennesaw Mountain. If it’s a weekend during football season we would also go see the Atlanta falcons play if they are playing at home at Mercedes Benz stadium. There are several nice restaurants in the Atlanta area, but we would check out Spondivits one of the best seafood restaurants in the Atlanta area.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my parents, brother, my team who works with me to make sure everything is ran smoothly with my business, my close friends, colleagues, and even the ones who have helped me along the way as being a business owner. These individuals have played a huge role when it comes down to the three businesses that I own. I cannot thank them enough for all their support, encouragement, and dedication day in and day out.
