Meet Jason Peavey | Owner of PV Heating, Cooling & Plumbing

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Peavey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jason, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
“PV takes a holistic, building science approach to heating & air. A huge core of our approach is centered around HVAC design and engineering. While we are the only firm in Atlanta that has an HVAC design department, every company is supposed to incorporate HVAC design and engineering when they replace systems. However, it is very rare for a company to execute proper HVAC design before installing new or replacing existing equipment.”

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
“PV Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing started in 2008. We make HVAC and plumbing services worry-free for our customers in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. Business is all-encompassing and very challenging. All levels of the business come with different challenges and work requirements that continue to evolve as your company grows. Some challenges are different, yet some can remain the same whether you have 5 employees or over 50 employees. Our challenges have been solved by hard work, dedication, and continuing education to set our team apart in such a competitive landscape. PV Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is owned by three brothers who have a dedication to doing HVAC and plumbing the right way so customers don’t have to worry and can rest assured that they can be comfortable in their homes.”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
“We would start by having a great culinary experience on Buford Highway. Northern China Eatery for lunch and maybe Mamak for dinner. We would have a fun day on the BeltLine, including shopping at Ponce City Market with some fun cocktails off the BeltLine. We would end the day by having a great dinner at Boccalupo. We would wrap up the weekend with a nice stroll around Piedmont Park and heading over to dinner at Little Bear, with dessert at Big Softie.”

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
“I want to shout out David and Joseph Peavey. I could never be in business for myself without the help of my brothers. Each of them is integral in their roles at our company, and our success over the past 16 years would not be possible without them.”
