We had the good fortune of connecting with JaiNishia Njie Savage and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi JaiNishia, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe that there is no value if you don’t risk in life. Often we are scared to take any steps forward for fear of failure; each event in life is a grown experience that teaches us about ourselves. Often we remain stagnant because we refuse to go through challenging times that will help us grow.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Love and Happiness is a pure labor of love, I created this from the ground up. I definitely proud of myself for creating such an amazing community filled with eco-conscious lovers who adore self-care just as much as I do.

Before launching my business, I dedicated hours to researching, product development, and continuing education classes at university to gain experience within my industry that helped me along the way.

I can say that sleepless nights, early mornings, late nights, and staying up to make sure that everything was in order for my brand to be successful was definitely challenging, but it was worth it.

Some of the lessons that I learned along the way he is not to compare myself to others to take it one day at a time and stay true to my authentic self. Sometimes it’s challenging to find your own voice in a world full of chaos. Remember who you are remember why you started and God will make a way.

What I would love for people to take away from this interview and from my brand, in general, is to never give up. As long as you are moving forward progress is progress. In my recent podcast episode, I explained that not everyone will see your vision or understand your purpose. You have to stay focused and lean into your uniqueness. You have what it takes, trust yourself.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am such a cozy spa day type of person that if my best friend was visiting, I would definitely want to share with them some amazing food and take them on a spa day. I currently have been traveling back and forth to LA Canada and I currently live in Vegas, so I have some super amazing places to hang out and eat and all of those locations. If you are not already following me, you can check out my guides on my Instagram and they have all of my featured places where I love to go.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So many people are responsible for my success. I would love to give credit to my amazing husband, who has always been so supportive and loving.

To my girlfriends, who send me encouragement often. Thank you

To my professional mentor who has been offering her advice, guidance, and wisdom over the last year.

To the community of women who are thriving, building wealth, living in luxury, and seeking a soft life; this is for us. We can obtain it all through you I see myself and I know it’s possible.
