Meet Jaiden Glover | Middle school student

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaiden Glover and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaiden, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Being kids me and my brother always had something in the back of our minds that we were asking for. The only problem would be when we asked our parents and they would say “Who’s going to pay for this new 3ds game”. At first we did not have a solution to this problem. Overtime seeing different things and researching the idea of entrepreneurship we both decided to build a business selling lemonade. We then started selling at the bottom of our driveway. I used the materials that I had at home and sold cups of lemonade for 2 dollars.
What should our readers know about your business?
a few things that set us apart, are that we are child entrepreneurs. I am 14 years old and my brother is 10 years old. That does come with some setbacks and withdrawls but we believe that as long as you have the right mindset, good work ethic, and a little bit of a guiding hand you can accomplish anything you put our mind on. We went from selling lemonade in our driveway to doing events and having a stand set up every Saturday in Three Peas in A Pod Farmers Market. We firmly believe once again that despite having setback and limitations you still can get anything accomplished by working and staying determined to meet your dream.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Even though we haven’t been to the city to have fun in awhile due to COVID, there still are some places you most defiantly have to check out if you’re in the ATL. For starters the food hits different at the right spots. Bon Tons, The Pancake House, and the Varsity definitely are a must for me. Entertainment wise Centennial Olympic park, Stone Mountain, and Get Air. These are just a few places that me and my brother really enjoy.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Mother and Father, They are always pushing me and my brother to do our very best. They always help us reach in and pull out our full potential.
