Meet InfinityBlu Events LLC | Event Professionals and Graphic Designers

We had the good fortune of connecting with InfinityBlu Events LLC and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi InfinityBlu, what do you want people to remember about you?
We want to leave behind a legacy of excellence, commitment, and dedication to our craft. We are trusted by clients to take their most memorable moments and allow them to be larger than life even if it’s just for a moment. Celebrations are our way of acknowledging a milestone, a pivotal moment, or significant change in life. We want people to remember how the level of care and detail we put into these precious moments and celebrations made them feel.
The joy they felt as they experienced their visions for their event come to life in ways they couldn’t have fully imagined. The comfort and relief of being able to truly enjoy their celebration without the stress that comes with managing and hosting your own event. The excitement on their guests’ faces as they entered the event space for the first time and uncovered all of the thoughtful details included that were unique to their celebration.
If we can capture these moments in such a way that allows for them to be instantly transported back to that day just by looking back at a picture, hearing a song, or reflecting on a wow factor that we put in place, then for us, it’s a job well done.
Whether it’s a birthday, a wedding, a brand launch, a multi-day conference, or any reason to bring people together in celebration, we want people to know that they can trust their experience to InfinityBlu Events.

What should our readers know about your business?
InfinityBlu Events LLC is a full service event planning & design company founded by Lisa Pope & Tanya Cintron, two friends turned sisters, both in spirit and in-law.
In the early stages of our friendship, we bonded over special events, often teaming up to make sure our friends always had birthday celebrations to remember.
Now with over twenty years of combined experience in the event industry, we pride ourselves on providing custom experiences tailored specifically to our clients and their guests.
Together we help our clients plan & execute anything from a special occasion dinner party to a multi-day corporate retreat and everything in between. Our services include venue sourcing, vendor management, decor, graphic design, our signature treat tables, day of event & wedding coordination, and so much more.
We’ve definitely learned a lot from each other but more importantly we’ve learned from our clients and mistakes. I would start with time management. Giving ourselves enough time to map out orders, production, and presentation became difficult, especially dealing with COVID. Manufacturing was down and prices were up. We also had to deal with constant delays in shipping and availability. We realized quickly that dividing tasks and completing them early was important. With this also came the concept of finding ways to make our more budgeted events look expensive. Creativity is our strong point. A dollar store vase, quality spray paints, and embellishments can help you create one of a kind pieces that will look amazing.
Finally, there’s pricing. We had to recognize the value of our talent and time. The hours of brainstorming, shopping around, research, and phone calls are worth something. A consultation, or mockup cannot always be free. The time spent on such things cost. Our ideas are unique products, not hobbies, and therefore we must charge our worth.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A one week vacation in New York can be a great experience. Now that the world is opening back up you can find everything to do. For shopping there is the Westfield Mall under the Oculus which is also walking distance from the new World Trade Center or the 5th Avenue stores near Rockefeller Center.
For entertainment we would head to a burlesque show, an escape room, or the Brooklyn Museum of Art. There is also the Museum of New York’s graffiti exhibit, live music at the Village Underground, and comedy at Fat Black Pussy Cat. Karaoke bars are great too. You can have a private room and enjoy with friends or just grab the mic and sing your heart out on a public stage.
To close a great week, we would have to go to our favorite location in the city, which would definitely be Harlem. Although it’s changed with time and gentrification, the culture remains. And with the culture comes the food. One of our favorite things to do is brunch and one of the best places to go is Angel of Harlem. The food is a fusion of American, Latin, and Caribbean and the drinks are compared to none. On any given Saturday or Sunday you won’t be disappointed.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to shoutout our close friends and family for their continued support. Many entrepreneurs are often disappointed by the lack of support they receive from those closest to them. However, we are extremely fortunate to have a tight circle of people we know we can count on for support in all forms whether it be hiring us to plan, decorate and manage their events; promoting us on their social media accounts; or jumping in to assist with preparation, setup/cleanup, and oftentimes staffing for our more detailed events.
We would also like to give an extra special shoutout to Dr. Gloria Pope, Executive Owner, Black Girl Everything LLC. She has built an amazing collective of Black women owned entrepreneurs and creatives that cross promote, support and motivate each other so organically in such amazing ways.
