We had the good fortune of connecting with HEATHER Cross and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi HEATHER, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting Heather Cross Designs Co was pretty simple. If I have a talent/gift, I have the education to support it, I should monetize it. Monetizing your gifts is something you will hear me passionately speaking over everyone that I come in contact with. We have the power to utilize the gifts God has given us by activating our faith and trusting the process.
What should our readers know about your business?
Heather Cross Design Co. providing over 16+ years of experience in interior design and event planning. Every design is started from a blank slate with new ideas, concepts, and themes all incorporating the personality and characteristics of my clients. If this alone didn’t separate me from the rest the attention to detail no matter the budget keeps clients returning. I believe that servicing a potential client or a returning client should be treated the same. And when you hire Heather Cross Designs Co. you will be welcomed into the family with open arms. I’ve learned the hard way while working with other companies that just because of ethnicity, gender, or cultural differences it doesn’t make you less equal. I vowed that when I started my own company we would never discriminate or set unhealthy standards or business practices. We are all about breaking glass ceilings and dreaming the impossible.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
You know the great thing about giving credit where credit is due, we have an opportunity to do that as often as we can. I’d first like to give credit to my family as a great support system. My friends have been my sounding board, my prayer partners, and my turnup partners wrapped into one. But my true success has come from my clients and partners. Because you all trusted me with your vision & projects it has truly propelled me to higher heights.
