Hi Glam By Emma Collins King, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“No excuses, figure out a way if you really want it.”

This quote is the driving force behind my business and my life. There is always a reason or excuse to not go after something you want, but I am a firm believer that if you really want something, you will find a way to make it happen. This quote is reflective in my business because I had many people tell me that you cannot make a career out of doing glam, but because I wanted this career so bad, I ignored what people said and made a career out of it anyways.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The bulk of my work is editorial/beauty, so I really enjoy getting to be creative and create unique looks for each client. The main thing that sets my work and my business apart from other glam artists is my commitment to my brand and my clients. I put a ton of hours and heart into my business, which many people do not see, unless they are behind the scenes. I am always thinking of how I can improve my artistry and my business, so I can be one of the best in the game.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a special thanks to one of my close friends/assistant/second glam artist, Bailey Novitt (@bohoblendsbybails). I haven’t known Bailey for super long, but ever since I met her, she has been one of my favorite people. She has always been supportive of my business and eager to work with me. She herself is an incredible glam artist and if I am ever not available for glam, Bailey is my go to recommendation! Love you Bails!
