Hi Dr. Tina J., what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
I challenge the conventional notion that one must have every aspect of their business meticulously planned before taking the first step. Many individuals remain stagnant because they believe they need to master every detail about their venture. What I’ve discovered is that having some knowledge about your business allows you to leverage coaches, mentors, courses, and resources to fill in the gaps. Hire in experts when necessary. The key is to begin, progressively build, grow, and learn along the way. Test, Try, and tweak as you grow and learn with your business. Perfection is unattainable, but by consistently giving your best effort, make adjustment when needed, and you’ll make consistent progress.

Podcasting started as my therapy, a way to share my journey without judgment. It turned out, my voice resonated with others, offering inspiration and hope. Building this platform was a natural step. It’s the moments shared with loved ones that make even a simple sandwich feel extraordinary. Cherishing these experiences and being grateful for every meal, breath, and positive influence in our lives is what truly matters.
