We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Jital Pancholi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Jital, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Absolutely! I’ve always been deeply passionate about healthcare, but I wanted to focus on an area that is often overlooked—pelvic health. As a physical therapist, I specialize in providing long-lasting relief from issues that many people are hesitant to talk about. These problems, while common, are often hidden under layers of shame or fear, yet they deeply affect an individual’s quality of life. My goal was to create a space where patients could feel safe, heard, and, most importantly, helped in a meaningful and sustainable way.

The decision to start Oncore Physical Therapy came from my desire to offer more than just short-term fixes. I wanted to be part of a healthcare solution that truly transforms lives by addressing the root causes of problems, rather than just managing symptoms. For me, it’s not just about treating pain in the moment; it’s about giving patients the tools and treatments they need to live their lives to the fullest—without being held back by their physical challenges.

I often say that what I do isn’t work—it’s worship. Helping people overcome challenges that have limited them physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually is truly fulfilling. At Oncore, we focus on holistic, patient-centered care. By providing long-term solutions, we’re able to help patients achieve a level of healing that can last a lifetime. The joy I see when a patient no longer has to rely on physical therapy, when they regain their confidence and quality of life, is what drives me every day.

This vision of comprehensive care, of getting to the root of each patient’s issue, is at the core of everything we do at Oncore. It’s incredibly rewarding to be able to impact lives in such a significant way, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to do this work.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m Dr. P, a pelvic floor physical therapist and the proud owner of Oncore Physical Therapy. Our practice specializes in pelvic health for both adults and children, providing holistic and comprehensive care to men, women, and kids who are facing challenges related to pain, bladder, bowel, and sexual health. We treat a wide range of patients, from as young as 4 years old to individuals in their 90s. We’re particularly passionate about supporting women during pregnancy, those trying to conceive, and postpartum mothers, helping them address issues that, if untreated, can impact their future health and quality of life. We also work with athletes who struggle with poor performance due to inadequate pelvic control, as well as individuals dealing with acute and chronic back, pelvic, or hip pain.

What sets us apart is our dedication to finding the root cause of our patients’ problems, rather than simply treating symptoms. This focus allows us to provide long-term solutions, ensuring our patients experience true healing—not just temporary relief. We believe that when physical issues are addressed at their core, it has a ripple effect on mental, emotional, social, and even spiritual well-being. One thing I’m most proud of is that many of our patients not only get better, but they stay better—there’s no need for them to seek treatment year after year.

Owning a business has been a journey, to say the least. Honestly, it wasn’t something I ever planned. I’ve always been a content person, focused on my family, kids, and my passion for my work. But as I gained more experience, I found myself wanting to break free from the limitations of traditional treatment models. I wanted the freedom to see patients holistically—as whole people, not just a set of symptoms. That’s when I realized that owning my own practice was the only way I could deliver the care I envisioned. At the same time, I wanted to ensure I could balance my responsibilities as a mother with my professional goals, and owning my business gave me the flexibility to do both.

Starting Oncore Physical Therapy has truly been a labor of love and devotion, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my husband and the incredible team I work with. It’s also been a community effort, and I’m incredibly grateful to our patients for trusting us with their care.

Of course, there have been challenges along the way. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to stay grounded and remember why I started. In business, it’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind, but staying connected to your purpose—the “why” behind your work—is what keeps you on track. Another important lesson is that learning never stops. Every day brings new insights, and I embrace each opportunity to grow.

A significant part of my journey is rooted in personal experience. After the birth of my child, I faced trauma that led me to pelvic floor therapy. This therapy was life-changing for me—it helped me heal both physically and emotionally. That experience taught me to see the patient’s perspective and deepened my sense of gratitude. Now, I strive to bring that same healing and relief to others who are struggling, knowing firsthand how transformative this care can be.

At Oncore Physical Therapy, we’re committed to providing lasting relief through our unique, evidence-based approach that integrates both orthopedic and pelvic therapy. Whether you’re dealing with pelvic health concerns or unexplained symptoms that might be connected to your pelvic floor, we’re here to help you achieve long-term wellness.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When I have a friend or guest visiting, I always look forward to sharing some of my favorite local spots—places that really capture the essence and beauty of our community. The first stop is usually the aquarium. There’s something magical about stepping into that underwater world and seeing the diverse marine life. It’s both calming and fascinating, and I find that it’s an experience that leaves everyone with a sense of wonder.

Another top pick is Callaway Gardens. Whether it’s walking through the vibrant botanical gardens or simply enjoying the fresh air and scenic views, it’s the perfect escape into nature. It’s one of those places that reminds you to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the world around you. Every season brings something new to see and enjoy there, so it’s always a great spot to visit no matter the time of year.

And of course, no visit would be complete without a tour of the local food scene! I absolutely love trying new restaurants, and I’m always on the hunt for hidden culinary gems. From cozy cafes to trendy new spots, our area has so much to offer when it comes to great dining experiences. I make it a point to try something different each time, so I can introduce my guests to a variety of flavors and experiences. Sharing these meals with loved ones makes the exploration even more special.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Without hesitation, my shoutout goes to my family and kids. They are my constant source of support, love, and inspiration. Whether it’s through their encouragement during tough times or their joy in celebrating the wins, they’ve been there every step of the way.

Starting and growing a business like Oncore Physical Therapy has had its challenges, but my family has been my anchor throughout it all. They remind me daily of why I’m doing what I do and keep me grounded in the midst of everything. Their unwavering belief in me has pushed me to dream bigger and work harder. So, I owe so much of my journey and success to them—they are the true backbone of everything I’ve accomplished.
