Meet Dj Dontey: Producer/Car Audio/Custom Lighting

Hi Dj, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My business helps the community and the world because I give people the chance to really enjoy their vehicle through car audio and custom lighting. In the area I live in it is not many companies that do car audio and custom lighting correctly or at all , so that is why I started my business Dj Dontey Kustoms

What should our readers know about your business?
Dj Dontey Kustoms : specializing in car audio, custom car lighting, and more, I first started my business in 2020 right before the pandemic started it hasn’t been easy but I make it happen. My business is starting to expand a lot this year and I’m looking forward to see what is in store for the rest of this year and the years to come, Dj Dontey Kustoms isn’t just a car business I also make custom decals and merchandise for myself , and other people as well. I also run a record label called Knight Time Productions which started back in 2016. I learned to never limit myself to one specific field of work or to limit the use of my abilities. For anyone who has been thinking about starting a business no matter how big or small it is, I recommend that you go for it , and never let anyone talk you out of doing what your mind and heart is set on.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the sugar factory I think it’s a pretty cool place, I also would take them to the Georgia aquarium because it’s a nice place and has a good vibe to it , Atlanta is definitely a busy city full of a lot of fun places to visit: plenty of museums , good food, and hang out spots.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family and friends for allowing me to work on their cars when I first started out with my business
