Meet Diane And Wayne Libman | GenX UGC Creators

We had the good fortune of connecting with Diane And Wayne Libman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Diane and Wayne, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting a business is driven by inspiration or desperation and can be a little scary because there are risks and things we need to manage. We have to think about what we need to get started, the learning curve and be ready to change our plan if things don’t go as expected.. The excitement comes from wanting to do something together that is fun and not considered a chore. It helps having a clear idea of what you want to achieve, and believing that what you create will be successful. We saw an opportunity where we could contribute to this space.. Building a business means we get to make our own choices and decide how to spend our time.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our story is of a Gen X couple whose nest has been emptied by two grown 20 something daughters who have moved to Florida. We are both 30+ year 9-5ers with Diane being a middle school teacher and Wayne an insurance agent and financial consultant.
We are a GenX UGC (User Generated Content) Creator wife and husband team uniquely positioned to help our clients from a perspective mostly ignored by marketing agencies.
In today’s world, where everyone is online and content is influential, UGC isn’t just nice to have, it’s crucial. What really drives people to hit ‘Buy’ is seeing a product used by someone they can relate to
which is far more persuasive than any traditional ad.
UGC isn’t only about showing what brands are, but how they fit into the real world of their users.
PERSONALITY * AUTHENTICITY * GREAT SCRIPT/FILMING/EDITING – that is what you get with 50’s and Thriving.
Brands, agencies can hire one or both of us for their next video. We collaborate with local businesses as well as brands and agencies worldwide. We are proud of our ability to offer a professional and refreshing view of content to a brand or company’s social media marketing.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our oldest daughter Jenna https://jennamediaco.com/ is a high level content creator and is respected in this space as a successful and trailblazing entrepreneur who got her start in social media marketing and pivoted to content creation. For years she tried to convince Diane to choose this as a business in addition to the 9-5 teaching since there is a need for content creation for the GenX age group. She convinced her to try and before long it was realized that there is an even greater need for GenX males and Wayne is now all in. Of course our daughter was spot on and before we had a chance to take a breath, it took on a life of its own and we have a successful business that is fun, provides us additional income and truly solves a need in the social media marketing platforms. Glad we did it!
