Hi Diamond, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Generational Wealth ! As common courtesy to the generation that will come after me, I’ve always had the urge to leave a legacy or something greater than myself. With my grandfather being a real estate investor, this encouraged me to obtain my license with hopes of creating a family business and maximizing our skills and knowledge in the industry. I’ve always said, “I will be a millionaire by 30!” And I learned sometime ago that 90% of millionaires become millionaires through real estate ownership. This stuck with me and motivated me to learn everything I could about the industry & of course, share the knowledge with those around me. “Each one, teach one.” Finally, since Real estate is such a rewarding, multifaceted field, it provides me the freedom to incorporate and offer a variety of services in my business.

What should our readers know about your business?
Gray Key Realty, LLC is a company that offers professional real estate services. We assist clients that are in the real estate market, interested in selling, investing, purchasing, and leasing. We consider our services a high quality because the goal is always to provide a healthy, smooth transaction for the client while providing the proper guidance and expertise to them during the process. My excitement and passion comes from witnessing the client’s real estate journey, rather through becoming a new homeowner, selling a home, investing or even leasing their first home. These are all great milestones that can create great testimonials to help others. I consider real estate to be a helping profession because as Realtors, we are helping others along a challenging, but rewarding journey and milestone. It can be a bit challenging at times, but it is important to remember the end goal and your “WHY”. I’ve learned first hand, you can not please everyone and do not try to please every one. Set a structured standard for your business and stick to it, do not allow anyone to adjust your business structure to their liking or to what they may be comfortable with.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m a pretty simple girl. However, I enjoy getting dressed up and going out for Brunch. I think that has become a popular thing in Atlanta, and I am hooked on the new brunch spots. My favorite brunch spots are Cirque Seafood House, Gochas Breakfast Bar, and Thumbs Up. I also enjoy long rides around the city, sight seeing and listening to music. It gives me peace of mind.

Our Itinerary: We would cruise through Atlanta and enjoy the attractions and music, eat at Gochas Breakfast Bar, and a nice hang out spot afterwards would be Top Golf or Dave & Busters. Simplicity is key.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well, we all know the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”. It also takes a village to start and maintain a successful business. I would like to dedicate my success to my parents, siblings, close friends, & mentors. It’s hard to dedicate to a specific person because I have such a great support system that I wouldn’t want anyone to feel left out because I appreciate and cherish their efforts equally. I would like to share a special thanks to thee Illustrious Clark Atlanta University, my Alma Mater, because the motto of the institution “Find a Way or Make One” never separated from my way of thinking since it was introduced to me at orientation. I now live by that.
