We had the good fortune of connecting with Demetrius Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Demetrius, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I think of a risk as an opportunity, a choice. I can either choose to never believe in myself, never see if I have what it takes to become successful or I can choose to play it safe. With risks comes repercussions or rewards, how you navigate those risks determines the outcome.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is my brand, Quante Luxury Goods. I do not focus on trends, I do not focus on graphics, I focus on functionality, purpose, and community. I want to redefine luxury and give it purpose. I am still in the process of becoming successful, the determination that I have will propel me to even greater heights. It has not by any means been easy, but it will be worth it. Consistency is key, continually striving to accomplish goals, learning from mistakes and failures and capitalizing on successes is the best way to overcome challenges. I have learned that patience is key and focusing on the quality of what you do, loving what you do, and enjoying the process fully are the greatest ingredients to becoming the best version of your self, to becoming successful. I want the world to know that my brand will be one of the greatest brands to ever exist, it will be Iconic and Quante’s story will be of infinite possibilities and limitless potential.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, we would try a few local soul food and high end restaurants, like STK. I would take them to Beat the Bomb, Your 3rd spot and Sandbox VR. We would visit the civil rights museum and Georgia Aquarium.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate my shoutout to my wife, Jhenelle and my mother. My wife has kept me sane, kept me steady and always supports me. My mother is my inspiration for finding true peace and happiness. I have seen her work so hard and accomplish so much and want to do the same for myself and become the purest, most iconic version of myself.
