We had the good fortune of connecting with DeMarco 275 and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DeMarco, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I realized that I had a passion and extensive knowledge on three subjects, rap music, sports & relationships. I created a blogsite in 2016 called Bars & Beyond where I wrote stories and gave my opinions on these subjects. In 2018 I was able to come across an extremely talented young lady named Courtney Lavette and we took the blogsite and turned it into a podcast. In late 2018 I contacted a long time friend and producer/videographer Slyvester Darnell who agreed to take it to another level. Here we are in 2021 now as a full fledged TV Show. 5 years in the making.

What should our readers know about your business?
Apart from creating B&B, I also own a transportation company called Cargo Xpress LLC where we carry freight in Semis, Boxtrucks and Sprinters.. I started this business in January of 2021 and looking forward to scaling.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My spots in Atlanta are the Battery, for eating Capitol Grille in Buckhead,, For fun the Main Event on Cobb Pkwy in Smyrna!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There’s three people that I could not have accomplished this with. My beautiful wife Teri, my co host Courtney has stayed the course and grinded it out through these 4 years, and last but not least Slyvester Darnell who built the amazing set, has created these amazing visuals and directed us to take this to another level.
