We had the good fortune of connecting with David Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Music is me. My life wouldn’t be the same without it. There is so much power in music. I use it to uplift people. To take them to the 10th Cloud 

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
10th Cloud is all about elevation. Bringing your conscious to a higher level. The music that’s connected with 10th Cloud is intended to bring the listener to a state of peace. A natural high. I realized very early that music could literally be used to elevate the consciousness of the listener. After that… it was on. We’re not stopping until everyone has at least heard of 10th Cloud. But it would be better for you to experience the 10th Cloud for yourself.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Let me start by shouting out the fact that I’m from Baltimore. And I’ve talked to a lot of people who aren’t from the city, and haven’t spent a lot of time in the city. Baltimore really doesn’t have a good reputation. No one seems to think that there’s positive things going on in this city. Honestly, I know many people who live in Baltimore who really don’t know about all of the positive things going on here. But there is. Baltimore has a thriving art scene, five star restaurants, sight seeing. Everything. Some people know what’s up. But if you don’t, I say hit me up and I can show you what Baltimore is really all about. It is a pretty special place.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My journey has been a wild one, and believe me, that’s an understatement. If I name everyone who’s helped get me to where I am today, we’d be here all day. So this is just one big thank you and shout out to everyone who’s believed in me, sacrificed for me, put up with me, and overall helped me get to where I am today. It was all worth it! Thank You
