We had the good fortune of connecting with Darbi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Darbi, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I learned with The Business Credit Agency that I could not keep up with the demand on my own. I needed a team and automated system that could do the heavy lifting so we could be more customer service and community service focused – and voila BCA Culture was born. This our online platform that truly automates business credit and the process of starting a business for many business owners.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
From the beginning I understood the importance of building a community of entrepreneurs who dared to be different and bold in their business pursuits. I started hosting live events to foster this creativity and connecting entrepreneurs with each other who desired to learn about business credit and funding. At those events, a culture was truly born. The stories, support, inspiration and energy that came from these live events was something authentic. This was pre-COVID. Now, BCA Culture is an extension of those live events virtually and in 2021 we plan to build upon those live events. What sets us apart from other companies that teach business credit is that we have automated our process now through a Turnkey business credit building software that guides entrepreneurs how to build business credit and we are partnered with credit reporting agencies such as Equifax and CreditSafe. BCA Culture reports our member payments as business tradelines and we provide essential services and support to guide them along their business credit journey. As with any business, easy is based on perspective. The road to get here has been a decade journey – trials and errors, high hopes, disappointments, and some business relationships falling short of promises and contracts – but it has all been worth it. Me and my team have overcome personal challenges and professional challenges through faith and and building the necessary relationships within first then through constant personal development to become leaders and experts in our industry. P-I-V-O-T. Pivot. This is how we overcame challenges like COVID – 19. Virtual creativity and teamwork has truly been our saving grace. We as a collective are dedicated and focused on pushing and stretching past our own capabilities. I have learned on this journey- ALWAYS BE READY! TO BE READY is to BE PREPARED. To be prepared is to be knowledgeable and a person of action. I want the world to know BCA Culture is here. We are the answer to a lot of business owners wanting to start a business – but don’t know how – our software gives you the game. For solopreneurs to business owners to company organizations – we guide you how to properly set up your businesses to get paid. Take your hobbies and become a legit and recognized business – and this is what we are here to do. Transform the way entrepreneurs think about their “business” and position their businesses to flourish and take advantage of business credit, funding, and grant opportunities.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is a Pre and Post COVID answer. Atlanta is such a culturally diverse city, knowing my best friends they would fly in on Thursday and stay that weekend and the next weekend. The first weekend we would turn up and celebrate – going out to different lounges and celebrating such as Escobar We would eat at as many black owned restaurants here as possible – from The Real Milk and Honey, grab cupcakes at CamiCakes at Lenox, while at Lenox go shopping, Local Green Atlanta on the Westside, definitely get Sluttified at Slutty Vegan, eat at Cirque and Roc South Kitchen in Buckhead. Throughout the week, we will definitely go to a Trap N Paint session, skate at Cascade, spa weekend at Chateau Elan, roll through Apache Cafe for Open Mic Night and then catch a few live jazz, RnB, and ballet concerts. After this – we would go to an improv or comedy show because they love acting and then go visit Tyler Perry Studios.
