We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Teachey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Danielle, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts” ,,, Winston Churchill… In my opinion, you have to keep pushing no matter what… Life is structure to throw curve balls; its up to you if you want to take a swing at all…. Stay humble, Stay Positive and always Keep God First in all that you do…

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the proud owner of Strategic Cleaning Services Incorporated (as known as SCSI) which have been in business for 3 1/2 years. What sets be apart from others is not I am a “one-woman show” and if you are not satisfied with the service I will come back and take care of it for free. The excitement of being a business owner is amazing but can be challenging at times. but I have to keep grinding and pushing in order to become successful. In today’s world, social media is booming so I am learning on that spectrum as well but to me; its face-to-face contact be able to have that conversation is rewarding. Being a business owner is not easy; and you have to make sure that all of your affairs are in order (depending on state ordinances). I am learning every day how to be a effective business owner. The lesson that I learned along the way are communication, creating and being involved in community events this will bring out the business and create partnerships that can be everlasting. I will like the world to know that YOU are the Business and to be sure that you care in every aspect that you do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Residing in here in the Metro South Atlanta area, I will show the museums, the parks, the Beltline and all historic places that Atlanta has to offer from Wren’s Nest to Dr. King birthplace… If I was in New York (born and raised) everything from Times Square to Herald Square;;; NYC subway to Chinatown; There is so much to offer in both cities,

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Tiffanie Beacon who is my mentor taught me how to navigate and become successful no matter how many wins I accomplished. She taught how to branch out and involved myself in different aspects of business and the importance of networking. She recently wrote a Vision Planner- called ” Write The Vision”- a book that has positive quotes and detailed attributes to become the successful business owner and a better person.
