We had the good fortune of connecting with Cynthia Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cynthia, what matters most to you?
Faith. It is the substance hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. My Faith in God is what keeps me going. Through every high and low I’ve experience; I have always had Faith in God. Guess what, having faith is NOT easy! I believe humans have a sense to control things; whether it be finances, relationships, goals, dreams, etc. With faith I have to relinquish my human nature of wanting to control things and rely on the unseen before it is seen.

What should our readers know about your business?
Kymz Oils is a body oil company. There are scents for men, women, and unisex scents. The oils are produced and manufacted in MD where the CEO Leon Chambers resides. Leon named the company after his mother Kym while he was in college.

What sets Kymz Oils apart are the scents are exclusive, creatively named, they last all day, and they appeal to all races, genders, and ages.

I am most excited that I’m able to work my Kymz Oils business around my daily schedule. It gives me the ability to come out of my shell and connect with different customers.

It has not been easy growing my Kymz Oils business, but it has challenged me to grow in multiple areas. I become more confident every time I’m able to share the Kymz Oils experience with new customers.

It’s important to set achieveable goals and have faith that you can achieve them,

Everyone should have Kymz Oils in their lives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Atlanta, my favorite spots to visit are historical sites. The Center for Human and Civil Rights Museum is a nice great place to visit. World of Coca Cola is also a fun place to visit. In Columbus, OH, check out Budd Dairy Food Hall, The North Market, and Blu Note for lunch and dinner options. Also Other World is an also place to visit.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother. Linda Wilson deserves a special shoutout. My mother is one of the strongest most compassionate women I know. She has never lost her faith. I’m so glad to call her my mother, friend, and leader. She is always giving and putting others needs above her own. She believes in people and believes they should have a second chance no matter what they have been through. She is compassionate, beautiful, wise, a visionary, a great soul food chef, a singer, a leader, a wife, a hardworker, kind, generous, hospitable, and more. I love you mom with all of my heart.
