We had the good fortune of connecting with Reese Soul and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reese, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite quote (paraphrasing) is “You can’t get upset about the results you get from the work you have not done.” The quote is coined by motivational speaker Eric Thomas. It keeps me grounded and focused on the variables I can control. Goals are common but having the work ethic and discipline to see one’s dreams come to fruition is rare.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am extroverted introvert that sings about the age old tale of love. I started my journey using a video chat mic and a noodles strainer (for a mic pop filter) to get my ideas in my computer. So since the beginning I strive to be creative to be creative. Destined to put my full efforts in music I quit college football and focused solely on cultivating my musical abilities. All of my education was towards knowing all aspects of being an artist, producer, audio engineer and better musician. There has been many peaks and valleys on my professional journey. I have learned to fall in love with the journey; that is where your story lives. I hope the world knows me for my deeds more than just my brand.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to first shoutout my wife Nadia for always supporting me in all of my artistic endeavors. My parents for rooting me on. my journey. To my colleagues that have shared knowledge, time, skills and resources to my benefit professionally.
