Meet Courtnei Hayes | Social Media Marketing Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtnei Hayes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Courtnei, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was to show the world the amazing service that I offered. In the beginning of my business journey, I started off as a sales consultant for a very small automotive dealership. I have worked in several different automotive businesses, but this one was just different. I wanted to learn more about how to run a business. I was very skilled in email, social media and marketing but born to speak. I knew that I was destined to help other people. My ultimate goal was to help out as many people as I possibly could which allowed me to become a General Manager in less than 6 months and was able to increase sales 90%, which led me to hire a full staff. As a single mother of two, to me, that was one of the biggest accomplishments that I have ever done in my entire life. Having a great mentor who was extremely patient with me, allowed me to grow in areas that I have never experienced before. I knew that I had a mission, and that mission continues to grow today. I was able to start a digital product business selling journals (one of my key tools that helped me with my journey) Now I am currently running a Social Media Marketing business that I truly love. It allows me to become more available for my daughters and spend time with family which is extremely important. I believe that every business has its obstacles and challenges in life, and lead you to a new direction, I learn to adapt fast so that I can be able to teach others to do the same. I appreciate the gift that God has given me to live in my purpose on a daily basis and it is very rewarding and beautiful and worth it at the end.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is Courtnei Hayes’ Social Media Marketing. I started this business because of my success in the automotive industry, I wanted to help more small businesses grow with a proven track record that I was able to accomplish in short period of time. What sets me apart from others is that I have the ability to guide others into success with a vision and beginning with the end in mind. Starting as a salesperson and becoming a general manager in less than 6 months during Covid19 is the reason that I am where I am today business-wise. I took a risk, If I didn’t take the leap of faith or consumed myself with the bad news and media, I would not be here today with my Social Media Marketing Business or made a decision that changed me and my daughters lives. It was not easy road, but I changed my mindset, created a plan, and took action. The lessons that I have learned along the way is to listen more and to be patient. Timing is everything and what is for you, no one cannot take that away from you. I learned that everyone does not have the same vision as you. It is okay to venture off to something different than others. I learned that I am also not made for everyone, and that is okay. What I want the world to know about me is that I am a human being just like you. It is okay to dream big. It is okay to set realistic goals and manifest them. It is okay to be imperfect and it is okay to make mistakes. My mission is to become a motivational speaker, to encourage more people to start that dream business, as long as you are being true to yourself. You can accomplish anything that you put your mind into. I strongly believe that, What ever you hold in your mind, you can hold it in your hand. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. You just will never know how your story may inspire others. Life is a beautiful journey.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to these amazing people. These people have allowed me to see something in myself that I have never seen in myself before. Giving me the love, support, encouragement, and most importantly, the guidance to elevate in the world.

First, I would love to give a shout out to my three daughters, Korri, Audrei and Kortlyn. Mama loves you so much. The motivation that you give me on a day-to-day basis to continue to put one step forward. I am so blessed to have you three little princesses in my life. If it wasn’t for these beautiful little girls, I would not be here today. Being your mom has been such a blessing and I’m forever grateful to experience life with all of you.

Secondly, I would like to give a shoutout to Aubrey, Thank you for your love and support. Your love has been defined in such a way that no one would understand. I appreciate you for seeing the value in true love. You continue to mold me into a strong woman that I am today and continuing to learn more about life and myself. You taught me how to value the small things in life and to never take anyone or anything for granted. You have shaped me into stepping out of my comfort zone into new possibilities. You are the life coach that I have always needed and for that your appreciation will never go unnoticed. Thank you for your thoughts, thank you for being hard on me when I needed it most. Thank you for your wisdom, perspectives and your open mind. You have open me to so many things that I have never seen before, and I can’t wait to experience the rest of my life and reaching the promise land with you. Thank you so much for being such a great father to our daughters and giving me a new meaning of a lifelong partnership without giving up on our dreams. You are an amazing person; I’m extremely blessed to have you.

Thirdly, I would like to give a shoutout to my friend, Thadius. None of this would have been possible if you did not take a chance on me. You have motivated me to become a better person. You took your time mentoring me and teaching me things about business that I was able to instill the knowledge within me for the rest of my life. Thank you for inspiring me and introducing me to the Secret. Every time I experience difficulties in life, I have that special book/movie to look back on to bring me back to focus. I wish you nothing but the best in your life and career. Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to see the best in myself and allowing me to experience the life as a business owner. You are an amazing mentor, coach and friend. I keep in mind every day that life is a marathon and not a sprint.

Anytime that I have to do a reset, I immediately listen to you. Thank you for your encouraging words that pushes me to help me conquer all of my fears and putting me into the right direction in life.
