Meet Cody Le Goddess | Spiritual Advisor & Practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cody Le Goddess and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cody, what inspires you?
My inspiration truly comes from the community I serve. Initially, I started my business to heal myself and align with my highest purpose. I also knew I wanted to help others navigate their journeys and heal. The deeper I got into this career, the more I realized how much I could impact my collective community. It began to be about something bigger than me. It is the number of lives I’ve changed that keeps me going. Hearing testimonials such as “You saved my life” or “If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t know my true strength” moves me in unimaginable ways.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Cody Le Goddess, the brand, is a service for those needing spiritual advice. I provide spiritual readings, spiritual classes, and astrological insight. I also host spiritual events. My shop, Queens Love, is another extension of the Cody Le Goddess brand.
The purpose of Queens Love is to help individuals in need of spiritual alignment. We pour love into those looking for extra guidance. Our shop provides the proper tools for spiritual needs such as a cleanse, protection, or abundance. Clients can use the items from the shop in tandem with my spiritual services to help with various situations.
Over time, I grew into Cody Le Goddess, the woman. I knew from an early age that I was gifted. I am a first-generation American. My family is from Honduras and belongs to the Garifuna culture. Garifuna culture originates from members of the African diaspora in St.Vincent and the Arawak-Taino Caribbean from certain Central American countries. I began intuiting other people’s feelings and predicting future events at times. In the Garifuna tradition, the ancestors come and you choose whether to accept the gift.
At sixteen years old, I almost died due to my ancestors trying to get my attention. I participated in a dugu, a ritual ceremony for the ancestors. The ritual entailed bringing the family together and feeding the ancestors. At this point, I learned I was a Buyei, also known as a shaman.
I’m most proud of how far I’ve come in my journey. I was afraid to step into my role when I started, especially since spirituality wasn’t trendy. It was hard to navigate this foreign world. Mentorship was a lot less accessible. Due to most people’s religious beliefs, they deemed tarot to be black magic.
I eventually learned to stand my ground on my own. Although I still struggle with imposter syndrome at times, seven years of spiritual practice allows me to stand firm in what I do. I’ve even influenced others to open up to this spiritual knowledge.
An important lesson that I’ve learned is to be myself. People will talk about you and disagree with your point of view. However, when you have a gift and walk in your purpose, everything is taken care of. I’ve had moments where I’ve panicked and wondered if I was doing the right thing, but I keep going. The more I step into my power, the more I am shown that this is for me.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The Le Goddess Tribe who continuously show up and show out in support of my personal journey. Cheif Oloye Alase Adekoye my spiritual mentor who pours immense knowledge for me and our study group. As well as my ancestors. If it wasn’t for my spiritual team and background I honestly wouldn’t be able to become who I am today.
