We had the good fortune of connecting with Christy Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christy, is there something you believe many others might not?
The conventional advice I challenge is the notion that I must limit my business scope to conventional pathways. I believe in bringing all my talents, gifts, and skills to the forefront. This principle is the foundation of Cr8tive Lyfe Unlimited, where creativity is the cornerstone of our service. Utilizing every asset at my disposal allows me to fulfill the deepest desires of my customers. Be ALL of who you ARE!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As the Chief Operation Officer and CEO of Cr8tive Lyfe Unlimited LLC, where we champion creativity as a service, I am deeply committed to enhancing our clients’ well-being. Our consulting services, led with a unique spiritual emphasis, focus on the holistic health of our clients—spanning the physical, emotional, mental, and sexual health domains. I, Pastor Christy, am passionate about helping our clients discover and pursue their passions, guiding them to articulate their personal mission statements and visions. My role is to support and sometimes propel them on their journey towards self-actualization, serving both as a guide and a fellow learner. Together, we navigate the path to clarity and fulfillment, constantly evolving and gaining insights.
My journey has been marked by numerous successes in ministry, education, and the performing arts. However, the development of Cr8tive Suites stands out as a pinnacle achievement, embodying a “Safe Haven for Creatives.” This space represents the culmination of my aspirations to create a supportive environment that leverages my skills and projects to benefit others. I am convinced that my most impactful work lies ahead, as this creative sanctuary enables me to broaden my influence across the digital and physical realms, embracing dance, events, and much more.
My path was set in motion in childhood, driven by a passion for service, the arts, and spirituality rather than traditional education. This passion guided my educational pursuits, culminating in a Master of Divinity degree and roles as a birth, post-partum, and transition doula. Now, as an entrepreneur, I reflect on a journey that has been both nourishing and expansive, with every challenge serving as a crucial learning opportunity.
In essence, I am the unseen teammate, trusted business confidant, spiritual guide, and foremost creative advocate you didn’t know you needed. My mission is to provide the creative solutions you seek. So, when the world misunderstands or mislabels you, remember to stand firm in your identity and proclaim, “I’m living my Cr8tive Lyfe, and my possibilities are Unlimited!”

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ooooweeee, my bestie is in town for a WEEK! First things first. ANYONE that knows me understands that I LOVE the performance arts, eating, chillin’ and taking in nature!!! So, what do we do? Well upon arrival, I will scoop you up from the historic, Hartsfield-Jackson International airport downstairs, at the either blue or red terminal depending on your airline, and I will guide them out to me at the car. I will pay homage to the late, Mayor Maynard Jackson, a dear family friend and make our way up 75/85 North to the ATL! Well.. I have you coming in on Monday to Monday!
Itinerary
Monday Afternoon Arrival: Upon arrival, we’ll head to my hometown of Mableton. Dinner options include Jamaican delights at Jamaican Jerk Biz or seafood specialties at Bay Breeze. Afterwards, we’ll relax at my residence, The Retreat – A Sanctuary for Healing, enjoying a leisurely walk with my dog, Remi, around our private lake, ultimately spending the evening at my homestead for a night filled with laughter, tears, and reminiscing.
Tuesday: Our day begins with a visit to my “day job”, The Children’s School, a progressive independent institution dedicated to diversity, inclusion, and justice. Over 25 years, I’ve evolved from a 6th-grade teacher to a member of the Head of School’s executive team. We’ll shadow the day’s schedule and explore the scenic campus, which boasts a view of Piedmont Park. Depending on the ongoing festival, we may stroll through the park, soaking in the vibrant sounds of midtown.
Wednesday: We’ll explore Atlantic Station, catch a 3D movie at the Regal Theater, then head to Peter’s Street in the West End for a jam session.
Thursday: It’s time for my accountability group with the Your Day Balance Game’s Circle of Influence, where we engage in deep, meaningful conversations, support each other in life goals, and stay connected.
Friday: We’ll spend the day sightseeing at the Aquarium, the Civil Rights Museum, and the birthplace of MLK. The evening will feature a lively jam session at Cr8tive Suites.
Saturday: The day starts with a performance of Fat Ham, starring my godson, at the Alliance Theater. Festivities continue with house music events at Gallery 992 (Soul Variations, SWEAT), a visit to the Westside Motor Lodge for DJ Kemit and DJ Salah, or salsa night at El Malo. Dinner will be at the Atlanta Fish Market.
Sunday: The week concludes with Soul Service at Cr8tive Suites, an immersive worship experience featuring DJs, with me (clergy) and others celebrating the greatness of God and life.
This itinerary encapsulates a blend of cultural immersion, personal connections, and spiritual rejuvenation, promising a memorable journey through Atlanta’s vibrant heart.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
When considering whom to give a shoutout to, I must start with the two individuals responsible for my existence: my parents, Ray and Arlane Robinson. In the 1970s, a time when societal expectations confined African-Americans to certain social strata and traditional roles, my parents were adamant that I should be a risk-taker, exposed to diverse cultures, belief systems, and people. Their insistence shaped my upbringing as we moved 22 times, living in every time zone across the US.

I also want to pay tribute to the world of Musical Theater. From the original casts of “The Wiz” to “Dreamgirls,” the grand stage represents a magical convergence where musical talent and rich narratives bring to life intriguing characters. It was here that I found an outlet for all my abilities, from singing and dancing to directing and managing. I commend the performing arts programs of the schools I attended throughout the United States; they were the fertile ground where I nurtured my talents, learned leadership, and mastered the art of captivating an audience. The ARTS are critical in our schools and community centers. Hence a big part of my vision for Cr8tive Suites.
