We had the good fortune of connecting with Christian Farmer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christian, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Like they say , without risk there’s no reward , but also you need to hard work . I feel there will be many opportunities to take risk throughout your career but it all comes down to which risk you choose to take . While I’m not saying be too picky , when you have options , really sit and decide which one would fit you best or be the better one to take .

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is , of course , my work and my style . I feel every artist and creative has their own style which is why they have their own specific audience and supporters . Getting to where I’ve gotten today has just been a consistent circle of meeting new people , making new contacts , and just creating new work . It most definitely was not easy and still isn’t easy but you continue to learn and improve . One thing I’ve learned along the way is deciding which work to take on , which work to just leave alone and how much work to take on . Something I want the world to know is that no matter who tells you what you can and can’t do , it will always be up to you to prove them wrong but don’t just do it for them do it because you want to .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d probably go to Ponce city market or just some lowkey restaurant with good vibes . That’s if we even go out . Me and my folks go out but we rather chill at the spot and plot on what to do next . Some of the most fun things I’ve done throughout the city would probably be some of the least expecting things . Going to the skatepark watching people skateboard or just walk along the Beltline . I’m always open to doing new things so the list goes on .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would just like to shout out the select few who were there to support and motivate me to keep going even when I felt like I couldn’t do what I’ve achieved . The journey to achieving a successful business is not a easy one by a long shot but with support and perseverance , anything is possible . So to those of you , you know who you are , I sincerely appreciate you guys .
