We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Noel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, why did you pursue a creative career?
Since early childhood I’ve always had a sketch book, camera or paint brush in my hand. However, it wasn’t until I attended summer camp at Pittman Park Recreation Center in the Pittsburgh Community, Atlanta, Ga – where I was selected to design a mural for the center that would be painted in the swimming pool area. It was that moment that sparked my creative ambitions. The mural has since been painted over, however, the joy I had as a child passing the center and seeing my artwork fueled my creative desires.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The name of my company was inspired by my maternal grandparents home address, 1154 Smith Street. Both were hard working, straightforward, giving people – Always willing to help a loved one in need. I lead 1154 Studios with those same attributes. 1154 STUDIOS, LLC – is a brand development studio committed to providing a mission-driven, personalized, visual presence that’s proven to gain new exposure for our clients. It’s a true honor to create professional and exciting brand identities for our clients.

Our mission is to create a long-lasting brand identity for businesses interested in expanding their clientele. With over 10 years of visual marketing experience our clients can trust their project in our hands. What makes 1154 Studios stand out is our dedication to provide excellent customer service, strategic visual brand planning, and our authentic enthusiasm for our clients projects. My company has had the pleasure of developing brands and content for well-known public figures & businesses but takes great pride in designing for small start-up companiesdeveloping their visual brands and creating clean content giving them that big budget look at an affordable cost.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
am a foodie that enjoys hidden gems. A great go-to for me is Hapeville and downtown College Park & East Point. Main Street has all of the action I need! So many great brunch spots and places to just vibe with friends. There are also some amazing cafes and bakeries in that area. I just love the Kupcakerie in East Point. If I need a little nature escape, Sweetwater Creek State Park is it for me! Walking the trails, taking a rest by the flowing waters while listening to music with friends always leads to a great time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To the Creator of Life, the Divine, the Universe whatever term we use to identify God I would be lost without the presence of the almighty. I am most grateful for my supportive family members, close friendsclients that turned into friendsit’s too many people to name but its a tribe of beautiful souls that has inspired and kept me motivated. Last but not least I would like to mention The Moses Code by James F. Twyman – I can go on for hours talking about this book. I’ve read it twice so far and most likely will read it again. This book has changed my life in a profound way.
