We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Greene and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The crazy thing about my thought process behind starting my own business. I actually was going to get sued back in 2013 for using DJLG. Which stands for “don’t just live grow” I just believed in the saying so much and I was still learning the inns and outs of the business. So long story short. He made me take a song & a logo which clearly promoted DJLG. Then about a week later he reached out to me & wanted to collaborate. Apparently my music was good; even though I wasn’t making beats at that point & time. By that very situation I strongly felt offended and that is how Chris Greene Productions came about. So that was literally my thought process. I’ve always been ahead of the game I’d like to think. 😤💯

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Now when it comes to my music career. It has always been a part of me. I remember back in 2015 where I was just staring at this folder of 30 something beats if that. I was not happy because I felt my instrumental catalog wasn’t deep enough. Now here we are and I have plenty of beats & Songs. Honestly I’ve never been so prepared in my life. Consistency is key I never stopped. Never!!! Yeah it could be hard for most, but I make it look easy. There is this strong genuine positive energy that is instilled. It’s some thing I just can’t fake. My understanding, my calmness as well as my gift of gab. I’ve always had this deep love for people and helping educate/enlighten the world in all areas. I’m someone who is well balanced in life. I also want people to know that “I do what I want” and I don’t care what people think at all 💯 #FreeSpirited

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I can’t even front. I love Katz café. I used to go there to perform & enjoy myself before they put the flat screen TV’s up LOL. It’s very intimate. They have open mic on Wednesdays and they play live music. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a fun guy, but I generally like to stay to myself. I’m more of a social drinker and I like to keep my circle small unless I’m networking on a business tip. As for other locations I still have to explore the city attractions a little more & see what it has to offer.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost I’d like to thank God, my mother and my father for this heart, mind and soul that I possess. Every individual has their own path, but my lineage is the reason why I am where I am today. The only thing that could stand in front of me is fear. And we don’t have that. Not over this way‼️💯 I’m sure there are others I could give credit to. Let’s just say I’m forever grateful for all the solid ones in my life that truly understand me & my endeavors 😌💯
