We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued an artistic career because of the love that I have for art. Art is everywhere, so to me I saw that as endless opportunities to be able to create and work with a few companies that I love. I never get tired of creating and because of that I knew that I had to keep doing what I love.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Graphic Designer but also specialize in a couple of different mediums like painting, digital art and traditional drawing. My work ethic. is something that sets me apart from others, I put 100% into what I’m working on and am continuously focused on finishing my next project. What helped me get to were I am today is always believing in myself, trusting the process and knowing that hard work will pay off eventually. When I realized that I wanted to create art for a living I figured that it would be easy but that surly wasn’t the case, I wanted to freelance / create art full time and quit my three jobs. figured that if I get serious that I could do so. Going to work and working as much as I did motivated me to push harder and I eventually found out how important it is to never give up because if I gave up on what I loved then I would be stuck doing something that made me unhappy, you never know how close you are to obtaining your goal.

I have to say that I am most proud of myself for getting this far and being able to deliver my talent to anyone who needs my help.
My brand is Quietkid, make moves in silence let your success and progress be your noise.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Atlanta their is alot that you can do. Some places I would go would be the High Museum of Art, Krog Street Tunnel, the Atlanta BeltLine, Atlantic Station, Lenox and Buckhead area.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents played a big part in my life and helped me get to were I am today. Because of the extra push from my mom through school and life I was able to get to were I am today. I want to also shout out everyone who has supported me purchasing art, commissioning me to create art and just everyone that believed in me along the way and continue with the kind / supportive words and advice.
