We had the good fortune of connecting with Chloé Noble and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chloé, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I feel like sometimes it’s the artistic career that chooses you. It has always been obvious to me, since I am a child, that one of my contributions to the world would be making art. Acting and performing simply make me feel alive. It would be like ignoring a very big part of myself not to go for it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an actress for theater and films and I also work as a dancer. When I create a character, or workshop a piece or a dance I love to call on others art mediums to inform my work. I believe that they all complement each other and they help me create on a whole other level. I ask myself : If that character would be a drawing what would it be ? Then I create the drawing and I let the colors and shapes dialogue and enrich the process of embodying the character. It’s a very exciting process. I always discover a lot ! For me the process is far more interesting than the result. It’s always interesting to see a final piece of art and understand it as the product you are sharing with the world but really I find very thrilling to search, try, shape and reshape a price of material. I enjoy creating and being in the middle of giving live to something. In that space all seems possible !

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Go check some art installations at the Living Museum in Queens, eat the city’s best tacos in Chelsea market, garb a drink at Turtles All the Way Down in Brooklyn, walk the High Line, watch a show at the iconic Apollo Theater, and of course get some macarons at Ladurée ! And probably much more I don’t think about right now…

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to Molière in the Park, a wonderful theater company based in Brooklyn, NY that offers free opportunities for all to enjoy and experience the benefits of theater. Their vision is that all communities can benefit equally from access to theater and the Arts. They are truly amazing and talented ! Please check them out !
