We had the good fortune of connecting with Chef Cole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chef, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
So I literally had an experience behind the meaning of why I started my business. Basically I was working a job and actually like it but there was a couple I met who was Indian-American who were very sweet. They made an impact on me like no other having lunch with them. God spoke to me and gave me Intimate Dinners With ChefCole!! He told me to start it because of fellowship was really missing from the household. So following that maybe 3 years later during Covid I started my LLC and here we are!!!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m most proud of me being such a transparent chef who doesn’t walk in pridefulness. Im just really glad / proud of what I’ve accomplished thus far. Was it easy not at all I went through hell and high water to get here. I overcame the challenges by just being persistent in making sure I stay focus and didn’t let the wait of the world push me down. If I had to let the world know about me I would tell them my creativity got me where I am today. I didn’t let the world influence how or what I would do to become the chef I am!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had friends or people coming to Atlanta for a week it would definitely be a turn up!!! Definitely I would take them to the aquarium, the African American museum, also the World of Coca Cola. The food spot would definitely be the flying biscuit for breakfast, the majestic diner for lunch & for dinner we could go to pappadeaux.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
If I had to shoutout anybody or anything I would shoutout my mother, my grandmother, & Emeril!!! They Played a big part in making me choose my career in the culinary industry!!! I owe them nothing but a hand clap of praise for them encouraging me along the way!!! Also my oldest brother Fred for helping me jump start a apart of my journey they will never be forgotten!!!
