Meet Bree Aesthetics: Aesthetic Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bree Aesthetics and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bree, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
The one thing about the aesthetic industry that outsiders are probably unaware of is that it takes a lot of education, time, and money to provide the best and safest aesthetic treatments. Aesthetic equipment, products, training, and education are key components to a successful aesthetic practice. When providers offer services, all of these factors contribute to the price of a treatment. Deciding to commit to a beauty regimen is one of the best forms of self-care. I want clients to understand that it is an investment and quality is never cheap, no matter what industry. All treatments and skincare products at Bree Aesthetics are heavily researched and evidence-based. The safety of patients is the most important concern for beauty professionals. When clients are searching for a skin specialist these are the things they must consider.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bree Aesthetics is not just a skincare company, it was founded with the healing of the whole body in mind. We focus on holistically healing the body as a complete system that has a mind and sensitivities. Most diseases and allergies manifest themselves through the skin.
Throughout my adolescence, I experienced acne. Like many people, I found myself obsessed with my skin; my acne took over my entire life. It wasn’t until I became an adult that I realized that my acne would not go away until it taught me what I needed to know. So, I delved deep down and decided that I was ready to go on a journey of learning.
While researching, I realized that Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities such as acupuncture and herbal medicine were the best choice for me. I began to heal myself internally while also changing what foods I put into my body. During that time, I decided that I needed to know more about this fascinating organ called the skin, so I enrolled in Esthetics school.
Upon completing my journey through esthetics school, I learned about healing, self-care, love for thyself, and commitment. This inspired me to found Bree Aesthetics and continue my aesthetics nursing career. I am now a nursing student graduating in 2022. Bree Aesthetics offers skincare and services that help women to heal themselves through self-care.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The first thing I would say is let’s go get ramen. I am such a foodie and love the taste of ethnic dishes. One of my favorite Ramen places is Jinya in Buckhead. If she wanted to get really good food and drinks, but not too upscale I would say let’s go to SIVAS in midtown. The salmon is literally the best, and probably the only place where I would actually smoke a hookah. If she wanted to chill and relax but catch a good vibe I would say let’s go to Blue Flame. Get a dance and some wings and just vibe out. If she wanted to get dressed up and have a dressed-up night out I would say let’s go to Bar Vegan, something nice and cute, and maybe go to GOLD ROOM afterward.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family deserves the most praise and love. When I decided to quit my job and go back to school in 2017 they were so supportive. My decision affected them all, but they stuck with me and believed in my vision. Even if they didn’t quite understand. Their love and encouragement have been unwavering and I am so thankful.
