We had the good fortune of connecting with Bray Druz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bray, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risks in my life has worked for the better than the worst. I don’t look at any risk I’ve taken as a waste of time or money . I took any loss as a learning experience. I Believe in my self 1000% in whatever I choose to do because if someone else has achieved the same vision theirs no reason I can’t achieve it to . It’s been times where money was a big issue in chasing my dream in music but somehow I always managed to come up with something. A lot of people don’t understand that trying to make it in music is gonna cost you. I don’t care who you are.Your going to pay for something cause everything cost. Just make sure whatever you spend your money on is a wise investment.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from other artists (though it might sound cliche) my style is different when it comes to music because I’m versatile with singing and rapping but it’s also my own sound. Nobody can really say I sound like someone else. I’m the most excited when I finish recording a Song . honestly I could be my own biggest fan. I Really only listen to my music cause never want to get influenced by someone else’s sound. Where I’m at today with music is way farther than where I was. After dropping my song Keshay my music is doing better than it ever has. Even though my first song was Rolxx love that I performed on Druski coulda been audition in Atlanta . Keshay surpassed that song in 2 weeks. I honestly believe 1 song can change your life.Was it easy to get people to stream my music. Hell na ‼️ Working a job and tryna chase your dream at the same time is hard . But for me it’s like I know I got to do it I know it’s gone work and I believe in myself . You just gotta let your belief fuel your ambition to chase your dream . Thing I’ve learned along the way in chasing success in music. Cut people off that’s in the way of your vision no matter who they are or how long you’ve known them . If they slowing up progress they gotta go. Never stop creating your art. And always heed advice from people that are more successful in what your trying to do. I want the world to know that when your chasing success in this life the devil will always throw obstacles in the way but you have to keep going no matter what ima true believer in god and Jesus Christ . I fully believe in gods power . He’s blessed me out of a lot of situation I never thought I’d make it out of . Yet I’m here .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If it’s the weekend I’d prolly go to Mirza lounge. I don’t really do the friend thing but the people I consider my brothers are all locked up. When they touchdown though, we most definitely hitting Mirza lounge. Best place to eat that’s chill but the food A1 would be this wing spot called Langley or this Jamaican restaurant golden crust (both in lawrenceville) their food be pretty good to.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My father (step father ) he has always supported me . He’s always believed in my talents in music he has my upmost respect. My girlfriend also has supported my music in every way imaginable . And to every fan that streams my music . I fully grasp the concept that an artist is nothing without there fans for real. I have much appreciation for them as well .Also I was dealing with an a&r named Nigel Bez Lee he had big plans for me in music in 2022 . And he was a person that was willing to take a chance on me. It’s crazy cause we don’t know each other for a long time. But when he heard my music he was instantly a fan and believe in me . Unfortunately we weren’t able to see those plans unravel because he passed away . I will always be left with a what if but god bless him and his family.
