We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandi Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandi, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Every factor is just as important as the other one, but for my brand, the factor that has contributed to my success is my products. I offer QUALITY over QUANTITY. Skincare products that actually works and are effective. My brand is much more than the pretty packaging and vibrant colors, my brand is ME, Brandi, also known as the “Glow Girl” and I am very transparent with my customer’s.
Being transparent, authentic and offering a solution to solve their problems are just a few reasons why customers gravitate to me and my brand which is why many continue to support The Brandi Glow and send referral’s (word of mouth is powerful).
I can relate to many of my customer’s and I’ve created an environment and relationship with my “glowgetter’s”✨ to the point where they feel comfortable, confident, and happy. They trust me and trust my recommendations. We have a connection!
This is a huge part of my success and the reason I am where I’m at today, going on 3 year’s in business.
I believed in my products and my brand from day one. When I saw how my skin was changing for the better and noticed results in a couple of week’s, I knew I had to make the investment and introduce these amazing products to the world. So many people globally suffer with acne, hyperpigmentation, etc and have spent countless dollars on products that didn’t work or yield the results that they desired. I was one of those people. My products assist people with achieving clear, healthy, and radiant skin.
After all, Perfect skin does not exist!
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started my brand in 2019 which was known as Brandi’s Beauty while working a full-time job. I did not have a website at the time and people didn’t care, they just wanted my products. I would meet people daily and sale my products from my trunk and I would pay to be a vendor at local pop-up shop’s in my city some weekend’s to get my products out there. It didn’t take long for my customer base to grow because people were seeing RESULTS.
I started producing products and fulfilling order’s from my 2 bedroom apartment with my teenage daughter. Handwriting each label and uploading tracking numbers manually, one by one to each email or PayPal account and dispatching them to the post office daily on my lunch break. Many day’s, I were exhausted, many day’s, I cried. It was not easy, but I knew I couldn’t give up. I had products that wasn’t available at your local drugstore, Dermatologist office, or online.
I launched my website during a PANDEMIC (May 2020). With the temporary lockdowns and mass layoffs, I was worried and stressed. Just when I thought my online store wouldn’t do so well, GOD said otherwise! Many people were unemployed or working from home, so they had time to focus more on skincare, self-care. The order’s were rolling in. I launched my website at the perfect time (God’s Plan).
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My city is small. We don’t have many great options, but if I had to pick a few place’s, we would have lunch and cocktails at BJ’s Brewhouse, dinner and wine at Pour Baby (love it), pickup some of my favorite seafood- crawfish and snowcrabs from DIP SEAFOOD MudBugs or if I want a good steak, I’d go to Briquettes. For a home cooked, southern meal, my house.
For an evening out on the town, visit Downtown Mobile, Dauphin St.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To each individual that has ever encouraged and supported me during this journey, thank you♥️
