We had the good fortune of connecting with Bonnie Anahata and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bonnie, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My business helps to simplify the healing process by encouraging emotional acknowledgment, emotional grace and emotional releasing! I am here for the sensitive natured who tend to be heavily affected by the myriad of emotions of the world that they easily absorb through experiences & obstacles. I am here for the people whose spirit has called them to reach outside of what the norm of society, their families and their traumas are telling them when it comes to emotions. To show them how to welcome their emotions and not suppress them. So many of us are making it a norm to hold our emotions back for the sake of being positive, harmonious or mature; but suppressing emotions causes so much of the inner turmoil and intense conflicts we deal with in society. I’m here to help clear & rebuild their emotional processing techniques; in turn helping them better navigate, express and clear subconscious blockages!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I realize that working with emotions is my life’s work. From being an actor since a child and mastering the art of channeling emotions. To learning how these emotions that I channeled effected me in the long run. To then learning how to recover from these emotions that I channeled in character. To next teaching other actors how to tap in with this same concept mindfully and recover their emotions as well. To relaying that concept of channeling emotions as an actor to channel emotions to heal myself and manifest. Then, to understanding my sensitivities as an empath & how to separate, release & recover from the emotions I pick up. To now really mastering the art of processing my everyday emotions and using the energy of those emotions for higher work. Emotions have literally been my life and now I use that life’s work to guide many others towards themselves in everyday happenings. It has certainly not been easy and a rollercoaster full of fear, uncertainty, risk and faith. Nonetheless, it was learning how to navigate those emotions in an authentic, expressive & serving way that brought me to the technique I utilize today to help others!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly I may be the worst at remembering the names of restaurants/event halls, but I’m pretty good at stumbling upon some great eats. I’d definitely take them to the vegan brunch at Life Bistro. Maybe an evening cap at Bar Vegan. Tassili’s Raw Reality is definitely a place I would have to introduce them to for lunch one day. Some type of festival like Jazzfest or Reggae in the park. If it was the summer I would certainly have to go to Six Flags because who doesn’t love an amusement park.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I believe that every single person (whether good or bad experience) we come across in our lives has a mission to help guide us towards our soul’s purpose. So I don’t have an individual that I attribute any life success so, but every single person that I met along my journey. Every family member & friend for the support I needed when I couldn’t do things alone. Every teacher, speaker or content creator that has inspired and motivated towards the words.
