Meet B.E.N | Sound Healer

We had the good fortune of connecting with B.E.N and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi B.E.N, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
Why would anyone give up on something that has the power to heal the spirit? If you know what you are doing is positive, it’s important to not even think about giving up.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Choctaw sound healer from Texas who attempts to heal the spirit through sounds, entirely created with the bass guitar. Nothing original and authentic comes easily in America, and the challenges will always be there. But challenges are opportunities for growth. The main lesson that I’ve learned is to stay mindful and pay attention to the signs. I want the world to know that I will never stop doing all I can to make the world a better place with my bass. That is a promise.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Dai Loi #2. If I can make my music half as good as they make their food, I will have succeeded.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
