We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashea Stephens and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashea, how did you come up with the idea for your business?

The idea of Ashea Enterprises LLC came from the gifts I was blessed with, being someone who is a jack of many trades can sometimes slow down the execution process of starting a business. I had to narrow down and find a niche that can benefit me in the nail industry but also allow me to reach other nail technicians and entrepreneurs that don’t have the major funding resources. The thought of my DBA, Raw Addixtion Empire came from my everyday routine, being able to wake up, dress up and show up. Being the RAW you that finds their ADDIXTION to build an EMPIRE. 

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Ashea Enterprises LLC is a versatile outlet that provides tools, resources, and handmade products for nail technicians and entrepreneurs. 

Doing business as Raw Addixtion Empire is where it transitions into is a nail supply store with private nail services. Raw Addixtion Supplies are the necessary tools to keep nail technicians organized during daily operations. 

What sets our business aside is the RAW connection behind every product made and every client serviced. 

Being a start-up business in its developing stage isn’t for the weak. Each day I’m still learning what works for the business and how to adopt to the world, as an employer.

Ashea Enterprises LLC x Raw Addixtion Empire is just entering an existing industry, and the plan is to raise the funding to execute the plan properly and hire employees. I’ve gotten where I am today by staying consistent, learning to train my mindset, networking with experts, taking courses and investing financially. It’s a challenge every day, in fact self-discipline will play a huge role in transitioning into starting a business. You must be uncomfortable to realize your full potential.

I learn to overcome obstacles by facing them in the moment and holding myself, customer, or client accountable.
I’ve learned to always have open communication, work smarter not harder, take responsibility, and know you can’t satisfy everyone. I take out my emotions and never allow them to control the situation as I know it could cloud up decision.

I would like the world to know that what’s meant for you, will reveal at the right moment. Always have faith, never give up on your gift. If you hit rock bottom and lose everything, surrender to God and he will clear your path and vision. 

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

If my Best friend is coming to town we’re having blast and probably lounge around the house.

There’s many people that has supported me throughout my life and starting a business, I couldn’t show or say my gratitude enough to the following people in my corner. My Mother, Lutisha Green (recently passed in 2021), siblings 3 sisters: Shak’la, Tia and Erin. 2 brothers; Anthonie and Aaron; Bestfriend Jasmine, Sisterhood tribe including Allegra, Kindra, Tameisha, Taheeda, Jax, Chey, and Andrea.
